After the dinner, I took the next few days to prepare for court.

Carlos helped me with my homework for school, and court.

"Can we take a break?" Carlos asks.

I close the laptop, "yes, definitely."

He smiles, "wanna go grab something to eat?"

I nod.

We went to the Diner.

I ordered a grilled cheese, with a side order of fries and a cup of brown gravy.

Carlos ordered a cheeseburger plate, which came with fries, and he ordered a side order of chili to put on his fries.

The doorbell chimes, and I look up to see who walked in.

"Hey, Carson." Alexa says.

I haven't seen her in a few days, dealing with the court and all.

"Hey, how are you guys?" I ask Joseph and Alexa.

Alexa sighs, "tired. I'm four months now, and I'm revealing the gender this Saturday. You are coming, whether you like it or not."

That would be the next day after my court date. Today is wednesday.

"Duh, I might be a little late though. I have to at least put my laundry in that morning." I say.

She nods, "as long as you make it."

Joseph shakes Carlos's hand.

Joseph and Alexa walk to their own booth.

"So baby, are you ready to face Luis?"

Am i ready to face him? No.

Am I ready to put him away for making me suffer? Most definitely.

"Im a bit nervous, he Broke me."

My lip quivers, and I know I'm about to cry.

That was until Dj and Shay walked into the Diner.

My lip quit quivering, and I just became angry.

"Hey, Carson." Shay says.

"Go away, Shay." I say.

She looks at me, "I'm sorry for the way I acted."

I laugh, "now people want to take me serious because I know how to fight, thanks to Dj."

I shoot Dj a smirk.

"Carson, I'm sorry too. I accept you and Carlos, and I hope we can remain friends." Dj says.

"Friends my ass." I say as I'm getting ready to leave.

Carlos just sits there.

"Baby, let's go." I say.

He shakes his head, "I'm not letting someone ruin our date."

I smile, and sit back down.

He was right, I shouldn't let others ruin my day.

"Please leave us alone." Carlos says.

Dj and Shay walk away.

We finish up out little date, and he drops me off at home.

"My love, I'll see you when I can ok?" He said.

For the next two days I rest, and focus on my school work.

"Carson, honey. It's time to go." My aunt says.

I walk downstairs in my beige skinny jeans, a red t-shirt, and my timberlands.
