A Rush Of Euphoria

Chapter Eight :The announcement

Immediately after I was done with training I received a letter that my presence was required in the garden immediately.

I didn't have any time to go in for changing, I was dirty and smelly of sweat from the trainings. Reaching the garden I observed it had changed really good, looking so beautiful and almost like a ceremony for lovers. I entered the garden I couldn't find any one waited for few minutes  my gaze landed on Dmitri who was staring at me, looking so good on his red suit.

I was confused at first yes, seeing him in suit and then the garden it was lovely. But after he told me he liked me then kissed me well I didn't know how I felt. Yes I enjoyed the kiss, I actually liked it,  it was my first kiss but at the same time it felt wrong.

Staring at the mirror at my reflection, my hands just keep trialing to my lips,  I don't know how moon goddess was going to react to this but well Darius has a point too she can't expect me to be a nun forever.

Checking my reflection one last time at the mirror I looked good. My maids had dressed me pretty nicely, my long dark hair was tied up in pony.

In my blue flayed gown that stopped above my knees with yellow heels and a yellow necklace which had a silver heart cut pendant. As for my face I sticked with a dark makeup which made me look kinda evil and sexy at same time. We were expecting guests today from other high packs so it was gonna be a very long night.

Arriving at dinner , it was almost time and they were about shutting the door before I quickly slipped inside. I was welcomed by the goddess hard stare and bewildered looks for other guests and snickering faces from my enemies. I quickly took a vacant seat that was next to a fine looking man that I didn't know.

"And they were about praying, late comer" joked the moon goddess which had everyone laughing at me.

"Am sorry goddess it won't happen again" I apologized

"It better not, or next time who knows you might just be the meal" she joked again which had everyone laughing again

"Aye! Goddess she would make a very nice meal" chirped a man sitting at the right side of the goddess, he look like an Alpha.

"Please do come late again amazon, can't wait to have a taste of you am sure you would be delicious" said another alpha from the left side of the moon goddess. He had red hair and was very muscular unlike the on at the left who was kind of lean but radiates enough power.

"Or bitter" added Randella

"Or poisonous like she is" retorted Kyla.

Well I was the clown of the night,  as much as I wished to rip off everyone's head and leave this ritual they call dinner I just had to keep my calm, after all not everyday is Christmas.

"Isn't she the traitor" asked the man lean man sitting beside the goddess

"Yes she is alpha Thomas, but she's more like my puppet" the goddess replied proudly

"I can tell her to kill you right now and she will, as fast as a vampire" she added

"Impressive, can you show us, I mean not the killing part" he joked

Moon goddess turned to me and grinned "Pick up a knife and slice your palm open, pump your blood in a glass and give it to lord Thomas to drink"

"As you wish goddess" I said softly and  did exactly what she asked for me, I must say it hurts pumping my blood till its up for a fill, well this was not the worst have gotten from her but I had to be my best to save myself a health.
