Chapter six: A walk into the past

Breakfast today was quite and grim, even John the cheerful one couldn't say anything. Dmitri wasn't himself he  just keeps tossing his food into different directions in his plate. He looks like he didn't get to sleep through the night, the bag under his eyes could tell nor like I could get any either.

I was not among the moon goddess bloodline but I could feel their pain, sense their worries. Some time I ask my self if it was because of the bond we share or the gift she gave to my mother that caused the sensation, but I bother not to probe too deep.

The moon goddess just keeps staring at me all through the meal like she could see through me or she was thinking too far and her gaze just landed on me

Thousands of bodies both wolves and vampires all scattered around, some in their wolf form while some in the human form,  some of the vampires had evaporated while some where castrated all around.

The smell of death was so horrible that you would wanna choke in your own spit.

We were loosing the war it was already written by faith, in my own eyes my husband was captured by the vampires. I couldn't believe it, I saw red I started killing everyone I could lay my hands on, this monsters they were gonna die everyone of them, my people were dying, I was loosing, am failing my people, my boys

The more I fought the more my enemies multiplied, I the moon goddess and the moon creatures couldn't win this war we were loosing I had already given up. My people too were giving up,  we were loosing to the vampires. Just when I thought we would all go extinct for life and our story would be told as a joke for years to come,we were saved group of riders dressed for war, all beautiful with the look of a female but the strength of a male, they helped us in defeating the vampires,  they fought for us, which made us stronger through the bloody  battle and we became the victor.

After the war we all returned to my castle with my guest who were our saviour. I told everyone to go and rest for the week after the bloody battle we fought which had taken toll in our strength. After the rest we had a glorious celebration, they were dancing, foods and joy everywhere, we celebrated till dusk, everyone having their fill of the night,  when the celebration was over they all retired to their rooms and homes leaving The warriors and our saviour alone in the dinning hall.
