Chapter nine: The god has arrived

Waking up today, I had decided to go on an early run. I quickly tied my hair in a messy bun and wore my jump suit and pink canvass then I took my head set and and water bottle.

After hanging my water on my hips attached to my belt purse. And wearing my head set, I was going through my music list then I selected just the way you are by Bruno Mars.

Running through the morning dew was nice, with its cold air on your skin. I can see some wolves and lycans running through the woods. Some of them decided to stay in human form though.

The pavement and everything about the morning was beautiful, gardens, Houses, the people which remindanyways
home. I missed my mom and dad a lot and also my favorite aunt. I wonder what they are doing now if they are thinking for me or plotting a way to come and get me back.

After the moon goddess had taken me and they heard of my failure, they came back declaring war if they don't have me back. But I had refused them saying I didn't belong to them any longer and my home was with the moon goddess.

They were hurt and sad, asking me what they have done to me. And saying hurtful words to the goddess, but they were sent back and their fight was futile since I had refused them which the goddess had me do.

I shake my head vigorously to get the thought off my head, it hurts me whenever I think of them.

I took a break to take a sip of my water, removing my headset to hang it on my neck then I heard someone coming from behind me turning back I saw Alpha Reddick jogging my way.

He was shirtless and just wearing a grey joggers, his muscles bunching into each other as he jogs, sweat dripping from his red hair to his face then on his abs. He looks damn sexy with the maturity of a man going close to his thirties.

I was about to continue my run, so I don't get to talk to him before he came my way just then he called me.

"Alexia wait up"

Couldn't he just act like he didn't just see me like am planning to anyway.

I stopped turning back to greet him

"Good morning Alpha Reddick"

He slowed down then stopping in front of me

"You don't have to put the title dear, I told you to call me Reddick"

"Sorry Reddick am trying to get to calling you that"

"Yeah, you are going to be my date tonight so I want things to look good between us today, like the best"

"What do you plan on putting on tonight" he asked me

"Well I don't know right now sire uhm Reddick" I said awkwardly, calling him by his first name is so not cool for me I don't want the goddess to feeling like am disrespecting her kind.

"I haven't started my day yet you see, maybe something with a touch of red, yes red I think that would be it" I said while looking at his hair

"Touch of red it will be, see you tonight I would pick you up by seven then" he winked at me with that he left.

I was still staring into an empty space when he left, still couldn't really process the fact am going to be the date of an alpha. Am going to be a headline today for gossip the traitor dating an alpha.

It's not like am dating him though just being his date for the night. It was going to be a grand ball since other high packs with their family would be coming.

I just finished running for the day when I spotted Alexia, after she broke my heart I couldn't make it to dinner. I needed to heal my pain so stayed back in my gym throughout the night.
