Chapter 13

-Yuzu

A few days pass, and the guys finally show up. Guess how! They come through the shield! I watch as they split up, and I follow Ichigo's spiritual pressure. Once I get there, I see him arguing with someone, while a guy does some strange dance, and another just stands there. I pounce on Ichigo, and he gasps.

"Ichigo!" I exclaim.

"Yuzu? When'd you get here?" he asks me.

I decide to act like a kid, so people will underestimate me.

"I came in while you were fighting that big scary guy," I pout, and he gets what I'm doing. "Now, who's he?"

"My name's Ganju," he glares at me.

"I'm Yuzu! Ichigo's best friend!" I give him a goofy smile.

"Hey! Another one! Today's our lucky day!" a guy exclaims.

I look at him, and then it clicks.

"You!" I point at him.

"I knew something was fishy," he glares at me.

"Hehe, I was a good actor wasn't I?" I smirk.

"You know her, Ikkaku?" the other guy asks him.

"That's the girl that was 'lost'." his glare never wavers.

I jump out of the sand pit, and draw my sword.

"She's a cutie, she thinks she can defeat us," the guy cooes.

Then he's holding a bleeding arm.

"You were saying?" a dark aura surrounds me.

The guy draws his sword, and we fight, while Ganju runs, and Ichigo fights Ikkaku.

"Name's Yuzu Fugioka." I smirk at him.

"Yumichika Ayasegawa." he adds.

"Well, your gonna die." I smirk, and we keep fighting.

"Watch out for Kenpachi," Ikkaku warns Ichigo, and it perks my interest.

The fight ended, and Yumichika's knocked out, while Ikkaku and Ichigo are chatting.

"Will do. Let's go, Yuzu." Ichigo adds, and I hop on his back.

"Aw, I always wanted to do this," I add, excitedly.

"We should go," he rolls his eyes.

"Then go," I add.

"You're on my back," he adds.

I just stick my tongue out at him, and he rolls his eyes. Then he takes off.

Well, that failed. I got caught, and now I'm in jail. Fun huh? Nope. I decide to stay as a panther, so they won't really know what I look like, but they know I'm human, kinda. Then Ganju appears, he all bandaged up, and knocked out. Once the people leave, I paw at Ganju. His eyes open, and he yells in surprise once he sees me.

"Man, they have strange punishments here." he shakes his head, and I start laughing.

"Dude, it's me." I change back.

"Whoa, how'd you do that!?" he exclaims.

"It's a secret," I add, as I change back, as the carry Chad in here.

Once they leave, I nuzzle Chad's hand, as he wakes up. He ruffles the fur on my head.

"You knew?" Ganju asks him.

"Yeah," was his response.

"How'd you get caught?" he asks Chad, but he gets no response.

"Cold shoulder," I try to smile, but I'm a panther, so it doesn't work.

"Shut up." he glares at me.

"Got another one!" I hear a voice, and they carry Ishida inside.

"Ooh! You got hurt badly!" I laugh at him.

"Shut up, Yuzu." he glares at me.

Then a while goes by, and the roof collapses. A tall guy appears, with Ikkaku, Yumichika, a pink haired girl, and another guy.

"What the!?" I exclaim, as I change back.

"It's you!" Yumichika and Ikkaku exclaim.

"Nice to see you two again," I wink, playfully.

"Are these the people?" the guy asks, and Orihime appears on his back.

"Yuzu!" she smiles at me.

"Inoue!" I exclaim.

"I'll take that as a yes," the guy adds.

"Kenpachi!" Ganju exclaims, and I laugh at his fear.

"Let's go save Rukia and Jai!" Inoue exclaims.

Then we set out to save them.
