Chapter 2

-Yuzu

Lunch rolls around the corner quickly. I just relax in my seat, and stare out the window. But, my peace a quiet lunch gets ruined, when a orange haired girl walks up to me.

"Hi, I'm Inoue Orihime," she introduces herself.

"Yuzu Fugioka," I add, uninterested.

"It's funny, one of my friends has a younger sister named Yuzu," she giggles. "So, would you like to eat lunch with me and my friends?"

"Sure," I shrug, she leads up to the roof, and I smile to myself.

"What?" she asks, noticing my smile.

"It's just, I like hanging out on roofs," I chuckle.

"Really? My friends and I are always up here, it's like our spot." Inoue giggles.

"I cant wait to meet your friends," I smile at her, and she leads me to a group of my classmates.

"That's Ichigo Kurosaki," she points at the guy with orange hair, "that's Rukia Kuchiki," she points to a girl with short black hair, "that's Uryu Ishida," she points at a guy with dark blue hair, "and that's Sado Yatsura," she points at a really tall guy.

"Hi, I'm Yuzu Fugioka," I smile at them, and Ichigo chuckles.

"My sister's name is Yuzu," he explains, seeing my confused look.

"Oh, that makes sense," I smile at him.

"It's nice to meet you, Fugioka," Rukia adds, in a cheerful voice.

"Just Yuzu, I don't people being formal," I smile at her.

I may be a total beach, but these guys are nice, so I'm gonna be semi nice. I study everyone, and notice their spiritual pressure, and I smirk.

"I didn't think I'd run into any Soul Reapers." I add.

"How'd you know?" Rukia asks me.

"I'm a Substitute Soul Reaper," I shrug.

"Same here." Ichigo smiles at me.

"Awesome," I laugh. "I guess you guys have seen some pretty strange stuff."

"Yeah, why?" Ichigo asks me, suspiciously.

"Have you ever seen a human turn into an animal?" I ask him.

"No, I don't think so." Rukia adds, thinking about something.

"Do you wanna see?" I smirk.

"Wait, are you saying you turn into an animal?" Ichigo asks me.

"Yup, me and most of my friends here do." I smirk.

"Okay, show us." Rukia crosses her arms over her chest.

I smirk, and hug Ichigo. Then I transform into a black panther cub.

"Whoa, that's so cool!" Inoue exclaims, and I laugh.

"I need to go, be right back." I add, and grab my clothes in my mouth, then I race into the girl's bathroom, just in time for me to turn back.

I change into my clothes, quickly, and go back to the others.

"Sorry, I had to do something," I shrug, and sit next to Inoue.

"Why'd you have to hug me?" Ichigo asks.

"Just let me explain everything, kay?" I ask, trusting these people. "I was cursed by the panther of the Zodiac-"

"But there isn't a panther in the Zodiac," Inoue adds, confused.
