Chapter 51

-Yuzu

"Hey, Yuzu. Miss me?" I hear a familiar voice.

I spin around to see Yuri.

"How'd you get back?" my eyes widen in fear.

"We weakened you," Yuri smirks.

"What!? Who?" I gasp.

"Katerina." Yuri laughs, evilly. "Now, I'm taking over your body for a little."

"What!? No! Give me-" she hushes me, and vanishes.

My eyes snap open, and I groan, as I try to sit up. I didn't really think about the gunshot to the ribs thing.

"Yuzu! You're up!" Lilica was about to hug me, but Yuki stops her.

I decide to play clueless, so they won't get suspicious.

"Where am I?" are the words that come out of my mouth.

"The hospital. Don't you remember what happened?" Lilica asks, looking concerned.

"No, what happened," I pause. "Wait, who are you?"

I watch from outside the bedroom, as Yuri looks around, confused. Man, she's great at acting. Then someone covers my mouth, and binds my hands together.

"Look who I found, spying on you guys," a guy shoves me into the room.

"I wanted to know if Yuzu was okay. I felt really bad about the other day, and I don't know what came over me." I sob.

I guess I'm a good actor too.

"Let her go," Lilica speaks up.

"Okay," the guy let's go of me.

"Yuzu?" I approach her.

I see the flash of red in her eyes, and immediately realize that the plan worked.

"Who are you?" she asks me.

"Athena, one of your friends." I frown.

"Who are they?" she asks me, genuinely confused.

"I only know Lilica and Yuki," I point them out. "Lilica's your best friend, and Yuki's her husband."

"That's Ludwig. You've only met him a couple times," Lilica speaks up.

"Douitsu!" a brunette burst into the room, and leaps into Ludwig's arms.

"What do you want, Feliciano?" Ludwig groans, annoyed.

"Is Yuzu okay?" he asks Ludwig.

"See for yourself."

"Ve~ Yuzu! Do you remember me? You yelled at Douitsu and I while you were teaching karate!" Feli smile, brightly.

"Huh?" she asks.

I smirk at her acting, while no one looks at me. Then I realize something, if Yuri stays in Yuzu's body for to long, her body will slowly turn into Yuri.

"Yuri, how long are you gonna be in that body?" I ask her, telepathically.

"Until the task is done, why?" she asks me, telepathically of course.

"Yuzu's body will turn into you, if you're in the body for to long." I inform her.

She nods, and pretends that she's nodding off to sleep.

"Sleep, Yuzu. You need it." Lilica adds, and they leave the room, forgetting about me.

"Kat?" Yuri looks up at me.

"Yeah?" I ask her.

"You didn't have to shoot her," she chuckles.

"Oh, right. I forgot." I blush, in embarrassment. "I can take the pain away."

"Do it." she adds.

I hold my hand over the wound, and she bites her lip, so she won't cry out in pain.

"Better?" I ask, giggling, slightly.

"Yeah," she laughs, and falls asleep.

I sit in the chair next to her, and hold her hand, and I fall asleep right next to her.

I watch from the window as Athena holds Yuri's hand, and dozes off. Then I sneak into the room. I use my devise to see what Athena did to Yuri, and I see that she healed her. I glare at them, and exit the room, so no one would detect my presence.

"What did she do, daughter?" I hear my dad's voice in my head.

"Katerina healed her," I whispered.

"Okay. Keep an eye on them." dad sighs.

"Alright." I smirk, and blend into the shadows.
