Chapter 9: Sherwin's Parents

Warning: this will be pretty sad. And this is only a Fanfiction and my own story idea. Hope you'll still enjoy it.

After dinner, Sherwin and Jonathon were in his room cuddling together on the bed.
"My parents really liked you" He said, Sherwin smiled
"yeah, they were so nice to me." He looks up at the ceiling and frowns, then he heard his phone going off,
he checked his phone, he had 5 missing calls and 10 messages on his phone from his parents. They must be very worried about him. 
"What's wrong sweetie?" Jonathon asked.
"I-I have to go..my parents wants me back home.." he looks down.
Jonathon frowns "awww..well, we can still text each other and FaceTime." Sherwin nods and they both kiss sweetly, then Sherwin got up.
"I'll go tell my papi" Jonathon got up and held his hand. "Come on." Sherwin smiled and held his hand and they both walked downstairs to go find Jonathon's dad. He's in the living room snuggling with his wife on the couch.

"Hey Papi, Sherwin needs a ride home." Jonathon said. The father nods and got up. "Alright, let me get my keys" He walked to get his keys and they all walked outside to the car.
Jonathon and Sherwin were in the back, holding hands.

After the drive back at Sherwin's house. He was pretty afraid that his parents would see or know that he's dating a boy.

Sherwin gets out of the car and Jonathon leans in and gives him one more kiss for the night. "I'll text you when you get inside." Sherwin nods and waves.

You have been warned.

He walked to his house and opening the door.
He sees his parents were in the living room, looking very disappointed. Mostly his father
"Son..where were you?.." asked by the father. Sherwin gulps. "I-I was just out with a friend..." The father didn't look impressed. "Who's your so called friend?.." Sherwin looks down "J-Jonathon..."
The mother got up, standing behind the father, who's walking up to Sherwin "I saw you...kissing that dirt kid..." Sherwin gulps, looking down in shame.
"You saw that?" His father got up and slaps his face.
"This family knows that Homosexuality is a sin!!!" He yelled into Sherwin face while he began to tear up.
"I'm sorry dad...I didnt mean to...why do you have to hate them!?" then the mother backed away, covering her ears, feeling scared.
"M-mom-"
"The Devil turned you into this...you know gays are evil..they are nothing but sick people who gives you aids..." Sherwin tears up "that's not true!.." His Father grabs him. "If you ever see that boy ever again..Ill be sending you to that camp they'll make you straight!! Do you understand?." Sherwin nods slowly.

"UNDERSTAND?!" He shouted right into his face.

"YES I DO!!" Sherwin sobbed from the pain and harsh judgement by his own father.

Then he pushed him to the ground.

"Wipe that face of yours you filthy faggot...and get to bed.."

Sherwin holds into his tears and ran upstairs to his bedroom. He closed the door and began to sob.

(Sherwin's Dad POV)

I can't believe my son is a homosexual, I'm very disappointed in him, my family are anti gay and if we see a gay or lesbian, we tell them to burn in hell. My wife and I will register as soon as possible so he can be straight and date a girl. Gays are filthy creatures who has sex all the time and other nasty stuff. God, what has society come to?.. Disgusting.

(Sherwin's Mothers  POV)

I hate what my husband is doing. Im too scared to tell him off. He kept me silent for most of the time.
I support gays as a child, I was friends with one in High School. but ever since I met Kevin, he said that they were evil and he told him to burn in hell. I know he is taking it too far. But he's forcing me to follow in his footsteps. I love my Sherry Berry so much.., But Kevin (dad's name) wouldn't allow me to love him, now that he realized his son is dating a boy. This hurts...

Sherwin tears up and saw a message on his phone that was from Jonathon

❤️Jonathon❤️: hey chica, you made it home safe?

He messaged back.

Sherwin: yeah, made it safe.

Typing...

❤️Jonathon❤️: wanna FaceTime for a bit? I wanna see your adorable face <3

Typing...

Sherwin: yeah sure

Then it cuts off with Jonathon FaceTime calling. Sherwin pressed accept. He sees Jonathon laying in bed, smiling at him.
"Hey Chica" then he noticed his tearing face.
"Hey...y-your crying..whats wrong?" He asked.
Sherwin sniffles. "Oh..it's nothing." Jonathon gives out an upsetting look. "It looks like something happened." Sherwin holds in his sobbing but couldn't hold it much longer.
"My dad saw us kiss...and if I see you again...their gonna take me to Church Camp to make me forget about you.." Jonathon gasped and frowns
"They can't do that to you...I don't want you to change..." he looks down and Sherwin sniffles.
"Hey listen..I know we began dating since yesterday. But In the future, I wanna live together, in our own house, where your parents won't bother you being you...I don't wanna lose you...I love you with all my heart...if you turn straight..I'll make you gay again"
Sherwin tears up more and wipes his tears. "T-thank you Jonathon..."

Jonathon smiles and blows a kiss. It made Sherwin smile again, but still heart broken.
"Hey, it's pretty late, I'll text you tomorrow okay?" Sherwin nods "good night Sweetie"

"Good night Chica" then ended the call.

Sherwin sighs and placed his phone down, turned off his lap, curling up in his blanket. Falling asleep.
