It's Not my Birthday

Danny laid in bed as he slowly woke up. The sun shined in through his bedroom curtains meaning the day had already begun, but he didn't want to give up this moment.

Hardly did he ever have a morning where he wasn't awaken by a ghost or pesky alarm clock so whenever he woke up naturally, he enjoyed the moment for as long as he could. That was, until his bedroom door opened quickly, slamming against the wall as someone ran in.

"Happy Birthday, Danny!!"

Sam had jumped on his bed, holding something in her hands as she tried to wake him up.

"Whoa whoa whoa, quiet down, okay? I would like to be able to hear when I'm 25," Danny replied still half asleep wishing he could have basked in his moment just a little longer.

"Jeez, okay Mr. Grumpypants. I just wanted to be the first to tell you happy birthday and give you my present!"

He and Sam had been dating for almost six months now, ever since the Disasteroid incident when they finally told each other how they felt.

"Uh, Sam?" Danny started.

"Don't talk, just open it!" She interrupted.

He didn't want to open it but since she insisted, he began to tear at the black and green wrapping paper on the small box. Inside the box was a small key chain that had his Danny Phantom DP logo on it.

"Sam, I-I love it. It's so cool! But, why are yo-" he was interrupted again.

"Yeah, yeah, I know it's cool and all, but that's just an accessory for your real present! You have to come with me downstairs," she said as she grabbed his arm and dragged him out of his bed and down the stairs. She then put her hands over his eyes and led him outside to the curb before finally pulling them away.

There, sitting on the curb was a black and green motorbike that was decked out and brand new. It was absolutely beautiful.

"Wow, I just... wow," was all Danny could say as he walked up to it and stroked it like it was the most fragile thing he'd ever seen.

"Isn't it cool! And don't worry, not a dime of my parents' money was used to buy this. This was all the money I earned from working and doing other things! And here is the accessory to the keychain," she said as she handed him the keys.

Danny was baffled. This was so amazing. Why was Sam doing this for him? Then he remembered back when she first barged into his room.

"Uh, Sam? This is amazing and all and I really love it, but, it's not my birthday," he said trying to hand the keys back to her.

"Uh, no. It's definitely your birthday," she stated.

"Give me a calendar, then," he said as she handed him her phone.

"It's not my birthday and I will prove it to - oh... Never mind... Well, uh, happy birthday to me!"
