"Phoenix." I said the moment I saw him standing while his hands are in his pockets. Vacant ko ngayon ng two hours and I was about to go to the library para magreview, but here he is and I wonder why.

He has this huge smile in his face as if he's about to tell some good news.

"Celine and I are going on a date." he said and I don't know if I should believe him.

"Really?" I snorted as I cross my arms on my chest.

"Yes, now let's go, I need to find a special place for our date and I need your help." he said sabay kuha sa palapulsuhan ko at hinila ako.

"That's so girly-ish thing to say! Saka alam ba 'to ni Vincent?" I asked, speaking of, haven't seen him since a long time ago.

Masyado akong okupado, both in mind and in schedule.

He stopped from walking at poker faced akong hinarap.

"Apparently, yes, it was more of a friendly date for Celine. I suggest you to go out with Vincent as well." he said, shrugging his shoulders.

Hawak pa rin nya ang palapulsuhan ko habang nakaharap sa akin, I was about to talk again but I stopped, tinignan ko pa ang paligid dahil sure akong may narinig akong tunog ng shutter ng camera. But I saw no one in the hall but us.

"What are you looking around for?" he asked, this time, he's obviously annoyed and getting impatient.

"Wala, baka guni-guni ko lang yun. Anyway, hindi ako makakasama sayo, kailangan kong magreview para sa next subject ko." sabi ko at doon nya ako binitawan.

"Tsk. Fine, then I'll just go by myself."
He said, I don't know if I heard him right but he sounded upset.

Napalinya na lang ang labi ko habang pinagmamasdan ang likuran nya na papalayo na sa akin. Naparolyo na lang ang mga mata ko at naiiling na tumakbo para sundan sya.

"Phoenix! Wait up!" I said and I saw him stopped.

Nang makaharap ako sa kanya ay tumango lang ako ng isang beses, at ng makita ko syang ngumiti na parang bata na napagbigyan sa kagustuhan nya, I swear it was one of the rarest smile I could see in him but it is also one of the smiles I'll treasure the most.

"Tayo na." He said as he offer me his hand. Tinignan ko iyon bago ko ibinalik ang tingin sa kanyang mukha.

"Yeah, tayo na." I said as I smile and put my hand on top of his palm.

How I wish it's the 'other' meaning, but I know that it isn't.

Huminga ako ng malalim bago ako kumuha ng isang test paper at ipinasa ito sa taong nasa likuran ko.

I look at the test paper I'm holding and took a deep breath before starting to answer it, or atleast, try not to fail it.

Hinahapo pa ako ng nakarating dito sa room ko at muntik-muntikan na akong ma-late dahil ang dami naming pinuntahang lugar ni Phoenix kung saan pwede silang magdate ni Celine.

I just suggested this place that we found a few minute drive away from the university. It's a cozy place that offers delicious food, quite pricey for a single date pero hindi ko na iyon inisip dahil sila naman ang magpapakasaya doon.

I look at my paper again, dang! Hindi ako nakapagreview, tuwing exam talaga yung mga oras na gusto kong kasing talino ako ni kuya.

I sigh and just used some of my stock knowledge, which I hope I have.
