The dress I bought was an off the shoulder lilac covered long dress. It was gorgeous. I wouldn't let Oliver see it until the ball. But I helped him pick out the tie so it would match.
The night of the Yule Ball Kara and I walked upstairs and got ready, we did each other's makeup and hair then got dressed. Kara was wearing a navy blue long sweetheart neckline dress. We both walked downstairs to meet with our dates. She was going with a durmstring boy.
"You look gorgeous"
"Thank you Oliver, you look quite dashing as well."
"Shall we go"
"We shall"
We started giggling at our fake posh accents and walked to the ball.
We danced and laughed all night.
He walked me back to my dorm and I fell right asleep.
The next day we all went home.
My parents were acting extremely weird the entire vacation.
They wouldn't talk to my brothers and I but when they did they were very wary of what they said.
They always whispered to each other.
People kept on coming in and out of the house and I was very confused.
I knew my family lineage and I remembered the letter I had received from my parents and I began to worry very much.
