Chapter Fourteen

Monday.

Usually everyone hates today but I was excited to see Andy again.

Although Seth was still not speaking to me, that bummed me out, but now I have something to talk to Lopez now.

"Eden! Go to Lopez' home, he's taking you to school!" Joshua shouted.

"Why?!" I shouted back.

Then I realized he just woke up that's why so I just made my way over to Lopez's home.

Joseph was coming out of his home already and opening the passenger door.

"Come on in" he chuckled.

"Thank you" I said then got inside, he closed the door for me and as I waited for him to get in the car I had put on my seat belt.

"Um, where's Seth?" I asked him.

"Well, Seth is a little under the weather but he's totally fine" Lopez said turning on his car.

"Are you just saying that because the reality is that he is upset with me?" I asked him.

He sighed but then pulled out of his parking space.

"He's a bit upset, but don't you worry about him. Okay? Seth is a difficult person" he glanced at me as he began to drive in the direction of the school.

"I can't help but feel worry" I said to him looking out the window, with my head in my hair.

"Eve. Seth is bipolar and doesn't know what he wants. Don't let it affect you" Joseph said to me.

"Very well" I sighed then remained quiet.

"Did you have fun?" He asked.

"A bit, I didn't know what I was doing there, the party scene doesn't belong to me" I chuckled.

"Of course, I get you, I mean, you were always more concerned about your education anyways" Joseph shrugged.

"I was?" I asked.

"Yes but you were very fiesty back then and rather temperamental" he chuckled.

"That sounds like me a bit" I chuckled as well.

"You are a bit more sincere though I will tell you that" he said , "Yeah, Joshua told me I am the opposite of who I used to be" I turned to Lopez.

"That's only partily true" he chuckled, "Why do you say that?" I asked him.

"There are things about you that never changed" he said focusing on the road ahead of him still.

"Like?" I asked.

"You're still the beautiful little Eve I met six years ago" he glanced at me for a second, his comment made me slightly blush, but I laughed a bit.

"You're just saying that" I shook my head.

"I speak the truth and only the truth" he said in offense.
