Chapter Fifteen

Lunch.

Lunch came around and I had lost Andy so I stayed put outside of Lopez classroom like I said I would then I sighed.

He's probably to awkward to want to hang out today.

I was about to walk away when Lopez' door opened.

"Oh, Eve. Hello!" Lopez greeted me.

"Hey, Jo- Mr. Lopez" I corrected myself causing him to laugh at my reaction.

"You can still call me Joe" he chuckled then waved at someone behind me.

I turned around seeing a few history teachers walking in my direction with Tupperware containers in their hands with food inside of them.

"Hello" they greeted me.

"Hi!" I waved shyly.

"Is this Eve who you were talking about?" A male teacher said.

"I'm Eden Staff, Lopez calls me by my middle name, Eve, please to meet you' I stuck my hand out to shake all their hands.

"I'm Mr Fonnel, or as Joe's fat ass calls me, Funnel Cake" he responded.

There was a lady who shook my hand as well, "Hi I'm Miss Mary" she smiled sweetly at me.

"I'm Eden! Its a pleasure to meet you" I smiled widely but shyly.

"Damn Joe, you said she was nice we didn't think she was this nice" amother male teacher stepped forward.

I gulped.

It looked as if his arms were going to the sleeves of his plain black tee.

His arms were littered in tattoos, his shirt was so stretched out around his toned arms the shirt became transparent, his eyes were icy blue, his hair was a medium toned brown with gray in it.

"I'm Mr Cane, but you can call me Eli" he said to me.

"Eli? As in Elijah, perhaps?" I asked, gulling then shaking his hand.

"Precisely" he chuckled then sent a playful wink towards me making everyone laugh.

" Alright, Alright, let go inside" Lopez said gesturing them to step inside and they did so.

"Oh wait don't forget me!" Ms Martinez shouted happily then ran past us inside, greeting her co workers with joy.

"I like her" I turned to Lopez.

"Everyone does" he chuckled.

"Alright. I'll be going now, enjoy your lunch" I said to him.

"Hey, you were alone, do you want to join us for lunch?" He asked me.

"Is that even legal?" I asked as a joke.

"Well yes of course, two of your teachers are here and plus you don't have to sit with us you can sit at the computer" he said.
