yoongi waited on a nearby ottoman. jungkook was lost in the mazes of clothing racks, yoongi was sure they'd be very late to this party. finally jungkook skipped back over to yoongi holding a pile of clothes yoongi would never wear in a million years.
"jungkook-ah, do really expect me to wear this?" yoongi asked clutching a see-through t-shirt.
jungkook nodded, "you'll wear the outfit for me? wouldn't you, hyung?"
yoongi rolled his eyes, picked up the bundle of "high fashion" clothing and stormed off to the nearest changing rooms. he knew he couldn't say no to jungkook, it was practically impossible to say no to those innocent, sparkling eyes.
yoongi pulled off his shirt and picks up the one jungkook have him. it was black and stretchy, it was basically a fishnet glove made into a seemingly fashionable shirt. he shook his head and squeezed his torso in. he looked at himself in the mirror, yoongi was very exposed. he rummaged through the pile of clothes and found a navy blue leather jacket, thanking every god he knew of, yoongi slid into the jacket. it fit well, hugging his shoulders firmly making him look buffer. yoongi liked the jacket a lot. he kicked off his pants and picked up the pants jungkook chose. they were shorts reached two thirds down his thighs. it was the middle of winter, jungkook could've chosen some sensible pants. yoongi was about to go out and complain to jungkook when he spotted the fishnet stockings lying next to a pair of sneaker and a choker. he didn't dislike the idea, yoongi thought it looked nice. he put on the fishnets, which were a struggle as he kept putting his feet through the wrong holes. once the stockings were on he put on the shorts and looked at himself in the mirror. i look like a stereotypical bottom! yoongi thought to himself. he grabbed the choker and clipped it around his neck, the feeling was new to him, yoongi never really wore jewellery and he never thought that he'd wear a choker and not hate it. he put on the shoes and unlocked the door.
jungkook was stood out the front of changing rooms waiting eagerly for the result. his grin covered his whole face when he looked at yoongi. jungkook's eyes screamed with delight as he wrapped his arms around yoongi.
"hyung!" jungkook exclaimed. "you look delicious!"
"thanks, jungkookie," yoongi was blushing, he didn't feel confident but judging from jungkook's reaction he didn't look bad.
"you're welcome~" jungkook chriped. "go put on your other clothes, i'll pay for the outfit then we'll go back to mine for food and makeup!"
"makeup?!" yoongi almost screamed, it was totally out of the blue, yoongi never agreed to makeup.
"yes makeup, did i stutter?" jungkook said smugly. "i have a friend who'll make you look like a billion won."
"the things i do for you, jungkookie," yoongi muttered walking back to the cubicle with all his clothes in it. he quickly changed and left the cubicle. holding the outfit yoongi made his way towards a very giddy jungkook waiting by the cash register.
"jungkookie, i can pay for it," yoongi offered but jungkook shook his head.
"no yoongi hyung, i insist. take it as my gift for you letting me drag you to this party!" jungkook took the clothes from yoongi and handed them over to the lady working there.
"thank you," yoongi playfully nudged jungkook.
"no problem," jungkook gently nudged him back. yoongi appreciated that jungkook knew that he didn't thank him for the clothes this time. yoongi was thanking jungkook for bringing him out of his shell, for talking to yoongi and being one of his only friends.
the two walked out of store closer to each other. jungkook turned to yoongi and wrapped his arm around yoongi's shoulder.
"you know, hyung, i have a friend who i think you might like," jungkook nodded.
"oh yeah? who is this friend, jungkookie?" yoongi looked at jungkook and raised an eyebrow.
"well, his name is taehyung and we grew up in the same neighbourhood. i told him about the party and he told me that he would be there tonight."
"that's nice, i guess i look forward to meeting him."
"mhmm! he's very bright and bubbly, like hoseok, despite his looks. he's got very pretty eyes and a cute little freckle on his nose!" jungkook taps his nose, he smiles to himself. "his voice is very deep and it's quite— how should i put it? alluring."
"you talk about this taehyung with a lot of admiration, don't you, jungkookie?" yoongi scoffed.
"aha, yeah, i guess i do!" jungkook laughs. they reach the front of the shopping centre. jungkook hails for another taxi. the ride back to university was quite, a comfortable silence.
as jungkook and yoongi we're walking back to dorms shoulder to shoulder (well almost, jungkook was a bit taller), the sky began to turn dark.
"jungkookie, what time is it and when does the party start?" yoongi asked looking up at the dull sky.
"nearly 1700 and the party starts whenever we get there, why do you ask?" jungkook said proud of his joke.
"aish, you're no help. i was just wondering," yoongi rolled his eyes. they arrived at jungkook's building. he lived in the dorm on the right at the end of the corridor on the first floor. inside the dorm wasn't that different structurally, but it's decoration was a far cry from yoongi's dorm. the walls were bare and the desks were neat, beds made. there were a new comfort item brought from home but that was about it. before yoongi could finishing gawking at how clean and orderly jungkook's dorm was a short girl with long, pink and purple flowing hair walks in. she looks at jungkook and yoongi smiling.
"hello! my name is kim jisoo and i'm jungkook's roommate! it's nice to meet you~" jisoo waves, she was virtually beaming.
the first thing yoongi said to jisoo was, "your hair."
"yes! do you like? i got it down last week," jisoo said running her dainty fingers through the ombré tips.
"i guess i do," yoongi confirms, he goes to touch it but concludes that that's weird and retreats his hand.
"jisoo noona is going to do your makeup," jungkook butts in. "sit in that chair near the desk. i promise you she's very good!"
"aww, kookie, you're so sweet!" jisoo pinches jungkook's cheek then leads yoongi to the chair. "i can assure you that you won't look like a clown by the end of this."
"i sure hope so," yoongi uttered nervously.
"now, let me work my magic!" jisoo ordered as she dumped all the contents of a foundation covered makeup bag onto the desk.
"this is going to be one hell of a night," yoongi grumbled.
