twenty-one

It made me happy expressing how i feel.

I feel so much better just letting everything out.

It's easy to say he's the best person for advice, comfort and just understanding everything.

I really appreciate him.

"I swear i will kill him!" Lauren sad through gritted teeth.
I grab onto her shoulders.
"No no no. Lauren, it's fine. That's the past.
Brady is nothing to me anymore." I lied.

I had a look of guilt and worry on my face.
Lauren pulled me into a hug, her arms tightly wrapped above my shoulders.

"Don't worry about it Lauren. It's over and done with. I just need to get over it and deal with the past. Cause i can't do anything about it." I say shrugging.

"Wassup guys" Alex says sitting on the bench, followed by the others, Nate, Jack, Ethan, and Grayson.

"Hey." I said, forcing a little smile.

There wasn't enough room for everyone to sit on the bench, i looked around trying to squish up to Ethan.

But instead, he pulled me onto his lap.
Taken by surprise, i giggled.

I wiggled a little, trying to get comfy.
I heard Ethan groan in my ear, telling me to stop.

"sorry" i said and turned to face him.
"It's not my fault you get horny so easily." I added and smiled a cheesy grin.

He chuckled and i leaned back, putting the back of my head in the crook of his neck.

He rested his chin on my shoulder, his arms tightly wrapping round my waist.

"You smell good" He whispers in my ear, sending shivers down my spine.

What is this boy doing to me?

"Thanks, you like warm vanilla marshmallows?" I giggled.
"Obviously yes" he shrugged and smiled at me.

He looked down to my lips and i did the same.
"Not here." I said, as everyone talked loudly in the background.
He nodded and smiled at me.

I turned back to face the front, joining everyone's conversation.

"Apparently there's this new boy joining the school! His names Brady!" Nate said in excitement.

Brady?

My whole body tensed up and my eyes widened at the thought.

Ethan's grip tightened and rubbed my arms and down my thighs.

I calmed down a little bit, but my mind was still racing with thoughts.

He's actually coming to this school?
What if he causes drama?
What if he tells everyone about our past?

I get cut out of my thoughts by Ethan whispering in my ear,
"It's okay princess, i'll be here every step of the way."

Then words meant a lot to me.
