i woke up to the sound of my alarm clock, vibrating on my bed side table. I groan and reach out my weak arm from out of my warm covers to turn it off. I squint my eyes, adjusting to the brightness of my room.
I yarn and stretch out as i spin my legs around, now sitting on the edge of my bed.
I look at the clothes i set out last night for school and let out a load huff just at the thought of getting ready and going to school.
I put my feet against the cold floor, sending shivers down my spine. I get used to the new temperature and walk to the clothes.
I quickly put them on, today i'm wearing:

I put my hair up in a high bun and brushed my teeth. I ran down the stairs jumping off the last couple. "Good morning mom." i said as i kissed on her cheek. "Good morning sweetie." she says. "I'm going to school early." i say as i grab my keys off the kitchen counter. "Oh- okay darling. Love you." she says as i walk out the front door. "Love you too!" i shout as i shut it behind me.
As soon as i step outside, i get immediate chills and goose bumps, i rub my arm up and down as i walk to my car.
______ I plug the aux cord in and play some xxxtentacion.
I drive into the school car park and stop the music that was blasting throughout my car. I let out a huff as i prepare for the bitterly cold breeze that's about to hit my warm skin.
I turn off the engine and step out my car. I flip my hair to the back off my shoulder and walk through the gates.
I spot Lauren and walk up to her straight away with a wide smile on my face.
"Hey Laur-" i get cut off by the school bell. I huff loudly which makes her laugh. "Let's head to class shall we?" she says holding out her arm for me to link. I smile and we walk to class together.
