Steve Rogers had lost his chance. He was able to join the army and get the super soldier serum injected into his veins, but he had been 18 for that whole procedure. He was supposed to start aging when he met Peggy. She sure did. When he came back out from the ice, she was old and graying, but he was young and new.
Steve had heard myths of people who had to wait hundreds of years before they met their soulmate, but he never thought that it would be him. Especially since it had been three years since he had been resurrected from his cold prison. Then Y/N joined the team. Within a few months of meeting them, Steve had already started growing more of a 5 o'clock shadow and his voice was getting deeper by the day. He didn't know who he had met, he had come in contact with hundreds of people in that year alone, but he had started hanging out with Y/N more and more. He had started loving them. They had started loving him. He didn't know what the future held, but he was ready, as long as he had his soulmate by his side.
