Loki Laufeyson pulled his sword out of an unlucky guard's chest, leaving him dead on the ground. Asgard had descended into chaos but it had only recently reached the palace. Loki's significant other, Y/N, was probably still in bed. He wanted to protect them. Keep them from harm. He had made his way down the hall to their room, killing anyone who came his way. His clothes were no longer impeccable, his face no longer clean. Blood spattered on his suit and a stain was growing on his calf where a sword had sliced his flesh open.

Loki's heart seemed to stop. There was a splatter of blood on the wall. He turned on his heel and limped out of the room, continuing down the hallway. Maybe Y/N would be there.
And there they were, surrounded by insurgents. So Loki killed them.
And approached Y/N. Who backed away.
"You're just as bad as them." They cried.
