"Vision, I'm not going to make it. You know that." Y/N smiled, holding a hand to their bloody side. The bullet had embedded itself into their stomach, and being a nurse and all, they knew that this was the end. A slow, painful one at that. But, Vision couldn't know that. They smiled at the worried look on Vision's face. They knew he was searching the web, Doctor Banner's mind, Tony Stark's knowledge, and JARVIS' interface for any clue that Y/N would live, but to no avail.
Vision was always a logically driven being, and Y/N knew that this was one of the first times that he didn't want to believe his intellect.
"You'll make it just fine." His calm voice washed over Y/N's senses. He picked them up and was flying them to the helicarrier
"Vis, trust me. I won't make it and neither will you at this rate, you need to drop me." He shook his head.
"I'm sorry, I can't do that." Y/N studied Vision's face. He was cut in many different places, had a large stab wound in his side. He wouldn't make it to the helicarrier with them in his arms. Vision's grip had loosened around their middle and they made a decision. They saw the clouds far below them and pushed away from Vision. Falling.
