chapter 10
Thoughts in bold and/or italics.
Christian's POV:
looking over at Anika I realise that she is still sleeping. I was in a dilemma of whether or not I should wake her up or just carry her into the house.
Come on, Christian think, think, think! Okay, I'll try to wake her up, but if she doesn't wake up, I'll have to carry her into the house.
Getting out my car, I walked over to the boot and grabbed her wheelchair and her bags. I quietly walked over to the house and unlocked the door, not wanting to startle Anika. I carefully placed her wheelchair into the sitting room and walked back out of the house. Walking over to the passenger side, I quietly open the door. "Anika we're here," I whispered shaken her softly, trying to wake her up.
I guess I'm just going to have to carry her.
Carefully I undid the belt and lifted her up, and I couldn't help but smile as she cuddled into me, looking down at her I noticed how peaceful she looks in her sleep,
God, I wish I could just take the pain away from her.
I carefully lied her down on the sofa and put a blanket over her. I walked over to the kitchen and started making
a cup of coffee, whilst waiting for the kettle to warm up I walked upstairs to get my bed ready for Anika.I'm just going to sleep on the sofa tonight I don't want to make her uncomfortable in any way.
I quickly walked downstairs as I heard a noise coming from the sitting room. Looking over at the sofa I realised Anika was hyperventilating. "ANIKA!" I screamed, trying to get her to listen to me. She looked up at me and started breathing normally again.
A/N: urghh hate the word normal
"I-I'm sorry Christian I started panicking when I realised I didn't know where I was," she said apologising whilst shaking. "Quit apologising Anika. I told you, remember? You've got nothing to be sorry about. Anyways do you need help getting up? It is just I'm in the process of making a cup of coffee and was wondering would you like one. I mean you can stay laying down if you want," I said, letting her decide for herself.
"If you don't mind could I have a cup of tea instead please as coffee just disgusts me, and yes please could you help me to sit up," she asked me politely. Holding her hands gently, I counted from 1-3, carefully she grasped my hands and was able to sit up by herself. I placed her wheelchair beside her just in case she needed it.
"okay before I go make your cup of tea and my coffee do you need anything out?" I asked her kneeling down so she doesn't strain her back, trying to look up at me.
"Could I have my phone please?" She asked, looking over at her bag and looking back at me. I grabbed her bag and gave it to her. One thing my mum taught me is to never go into a ladies bag.Anika's POV:
He asked me if I needed anything else, but I couldn't concentrate as he was rubbing small circles onto my knees. I politely said no and watched him get up and walk over to the kitchen.
I quickly grabbed my phone from my bag and texted Sammy and Scarlett(Group text)
