Chapter 14
(Anikas POV)
After being with Christian I didn't realise we spent 3 hours in his office, and it was already time for lunch. After saying goodbye to Christian and thanking him for listening to me, I quickly filled my water bottle up and went looking for Scarlett and Sam.

(In the canteen)
As I walked into the canteen, I saw Sam and Scarlett sitting at the table, so I snuck up on him trying to scare him.
"BOO!" I screamed loudly in his ear.
He just turned around and smirked at me.
"You know I can hear your wheelchair from a mile away Anika," he said
"Whatever Sammy I'll scare you one day," I said hugging him and then walking over to Scarlett so I can hug her and also sit next to her.
"Where did you go, Anika? You left with Mr Rave and didn't come back till 3 hours later," Scarlett asked me.
"We went to his office to talk about what happened with my mum, and we talked for hours and didn't realise the time," I said telling a little lie
I love these two, but what I told Christian I don't want anyone to find out,
not even Sam or Scarlett.
"I can't believe you stayed over at Mr Rave's house! How did you sleep? Did you stay on the sofa?" Sam asked me worrying.
"No I didn't actually, um Christian might have carried me upstairs and let me stay in his bed," I said quickly getting shy.
"NO WAY?! did he stay with you?" Scarlett squealed.
"Yes he did actually, and before you worry Sam, he didn't want to, but I asked him to stay with me. It was also the best sleep I had in a while," I said, smiling as I remembered yesterday.
"Aww look at you all smiley and happy, we haven't seen you like this in a long time," Scarlett said.
"Yeah Ani, I'm glad Mr Rave is back because he was always good at making you happy," Sammy said.
He and Anika both got up to go buy their lunch, and I asked them to buy me a cheese sandwich. As they were buying the lunches, I heard someone whisper in my ear.
"You missed me?" As soon as I heard that voice, I started grinning because I knew who it was.
"Christian I literally saw you like ten minutes ago. What are you doing here?" I asked him trying to sound annoyed, but I'm glad he's here, but I'm not going to admit it.
"I was wondering if you would come sit in my office with me and have your lunch there? As I don't want to be on my own," he said, pulling a cute puppy face and pouting.
"Urghh how can I say no to that face, but can you get my lunch from Sam and Scarlett, please? They are just over there," I said, pointing at the long-ass queue.
