~Chapter 19: Challenges and treats~

"Addison Isabella Cullen! You have five minutes to get your lazy butt to the training ground!" I groaned, slamming my head on my textbook and I could hear Renesmee cackling from her room at the sound of Jacob's voice echoing through the house.

Why does he train me again? 

I swear, he's a trainer straight from hell. He forgets I'm more human than anyone else in this family but instead he decides to focus on the part of me that is a vampire and expects me to do more than double the amount of exercises than a normal human. Say, the normal human being can do a side plank for a minute, Mr. Jacob Black expects me to do it for nearly three minutes!

I sighed, pushing my chair back as I moved to the washroom to freshen up before going to my closet to change into my workout clothes: I pulled on a pair of black spandex full length tights with a black sports bra before throwing on a white crop top with a black nike sign.

I spread out my yoga mat on the floor before doing my stretches for the remaining time I have left since it saves time when I go outside to the training ground. Rolling my shoulders back, I grabbed my sneakers and tugged it on before I threw my hair up into a high ponytail, slightly dreading the tortures of Jacob Black.

After grabbing my boxing gloves, water and a small towel, I trudged my way over to the training ground where I saw Jake and Renesmee talking to each other in hushed voices and as soon as they heard me coming, they shut up faster than I've ever seen.

They're up to something.

"Ready to start?" Jacob smirked as he unfolded his arms and walked over to me, taking my things from my grasp "100 push-ups. Start!" I groaned as I instinctively dropped down and started my first set as Jacob counted, speeding up at fifty "done!" I sighed in relief as I collapsed onto the mat but Jake was having none of that "good, since you're on your back already, 150 bicycle crunches" I narrowed my eyes as I looked at him and he raised an eyebrow as if challenging me to defy him. I huffed as I put my legs up and started that set, complying for the next fifteen minutes of various exercises which left my muscles crying for mercy.

"Here-" Jacob started as he handed my boxing gloves over and I held it with one hand, drinking some water as I listened to him intently "This is how this set is going to go. Starting with your left hand: jab, jab, hook, kick, hook top and bottom on the right side and roundhouse kick on either side" I nodded as Jacob demonstrated the set and put my bottle down before strapping my gloves on. My gaze flitted over to Renesmee who had her eyes trained on Jacob's bicep and I grinned wickedly as I could literally tell that she was inwardly drooling.

Point for Addison.

"Go up to 75, then switch to the right hand" Jacob instructed and I nodded with a grin, jabbing with my left hand and moving according to his count. Nearly fifty counts later, I heard a whistle which startled me since I was so absorbed in what I was doing and instead of kicking the punching bag which Jacob was holding still, I slipped and nearly landed on my butt if it weren't for the hand which shot out to steady me and I automatically assumed that it was Jake.

"Thanks Jake" I muttered but frowned when I saw Jacob's hands on the punching bag and I tilted my head back to see the familiar angular jaw. I gulped slightly as my eyes travelled up further, colliding with those chocolate brown eyes that I should be used to by now but they never failed to knock the breath out of me, which is rich because I'm anyways out of breath.

"Paul?" his name slipped out as a questioning whisper as he straightened me out "and Embry, Seth and Jared!" my eyes widened slightly as I poked my head over Paul's shoulder to see Embry, Seth and Jared standing behind Paul. I stepped back, catching the towel which Jake threw towards me and wiped the side of my face as I gave the four guys wary looks "how long have you guys been standing there?"
