Chapter 6

Caytlyn POV

I'm in the middle of a dead end. Then, a mysterious figure comes closer, and closer. I hear crying and yelling coming from the other end. "Caytlyn, Caytlyn, Caytlyn. Well, goodbye." A gun shot goes off.
I wake up in a sweat. I look around and I'm in a bunk. How the hell did I get in a bunk? I try to sit up but end up hitting my head on the top of the bunk. That really hurt. I roll out of the bunk, noticing it's the top bunk and fall flat on my face. I hear laughing, so I turn around to see Alli and Danny laughing. "Morning!" Alli said laughing. I looked at her, and got up. I walk over to her and she hugs me. We let go and I turn around. "Danny, this is Caytlyn. Caytlyn, you obviously know who this is." Danny sticks out his hand for me to shake it. I look at him, then he puts his hand away. "Sorry. I don't do shaking hands." "It's cool." He went back to editing, and I went to sit on the couch.

Alli POV

"Danny, this is Caytlyn. Caytlyn, you obviously know who this is." I say to them. Danny puts his hand out for Caytlyn to shake but she doesn't. He puts his hand away, and looks at Caytlyn. "Sorry. I don't do shaking hands." "It's cool." Danny went back to editing and Caytlyn goes to sit on the couch. I go over to her and sit next to her. She turns on her phone and I look at her lock screen. "Who's that?" She looked at me, then at her phone. "It's my friend, Sami. She's the only friend that's stuck by me since my parents got divorced." I nod as she puts her lock in. "So, Caytlyn. Now that you're my daughter, I guess I need to know a little more about you."

Caytlyn POV

"So, Caytlyn. Now that you're my daughter, I guess I need to know a little more about you." Oh gosh. I've only been here a day, and she wants to know every little thing about me. "Ok. Well, what do you want to know?" She better not say anything that I have to over think. I mean, she is going to be my mom. "How about just the basics. You know, friends, sports, family, favorites." Ok, good. Nothing too hard... Wait, I guess this could be. "Well, I only have one friend and that's Sami. Who's the one on my lock screen. I wasn't allowed to play sports since the step dad arrived, but I played volleyball, soccer, basketball, and I did track." "Were you any good?" I think for a minute. Was I any good? "Yeah, but I haven't played in years, so I doubt I'm any good." She nods and I continue. "I have an older brother named Jackson, but he's already out of the house. And I had an older sister, but she went with my dad in the divorce." She looks at me and I continue. "Uhm, yeah. That's it." She looks at me, and about to speak when she was interrupted by the door opening. "Alli, there's some people outside that want to speak to you." Travis came in and Alli left.
