Team Dad

Chapter 21.

Caytlyn POV

Alli starts to cry. "Caytlyn, I'm so sorry about everything." Then Charles comes running through the hallway. His eyes are all red and puffy. He looks at Alli and she leaves. He runs over to me. "I'm so happy you're home." Uh, ok. He let's go and looks at Tyler. "I'm Charles." He sticks his hand out. "Tyler." He grabs his and and shakes it. Tyler looks at me. "I'm going to leave. Nice meeting you Charles. See you tomorrow Cayt." He kisses me on the cheek and waves to Charles. He walks out and Charles stares at me. "Cayt, I'm sorry for yelling at you. I didn't know what I was talking about. And you were right." He starts walking towards his office. "Dad?" He turns around and looks at me. "Promise me you'll be at the game on Friday." He smiles. "I wouldn't miss it for the world." I smile and run over to him. I hug him and he hugs me back. "Thanks dad." He kisses my head. "You're welcome." We let go. "Why don't you go to bed. You have school in the morning." I nod. "Night Caytlyn." "Night Dad." I walk to my room and close the door. I lay in bed and get a text from Tyler. "Everything good?" I smiled. I replied to him. "Well Charles isn't mad. I haven't heard from Alli." I sent it and then someone knocks on the door. They open it and Alli walks in.

Alli POV

I'm in the kitchen crying. Charles yelled at me, Caytlyn yelled at me. I want everything back before today. I hear the front door open. That must be her. I run out of the kitchen and it is her. She looks at me and starts walking away. The boy grabbed her, but I'm guessing that's Tyler. "Caytlyn." I start to cry. She just looks at me, then down at the ground. "Caytlyn, I'm so sorry about everything." Charles runs into the room. He looks at me and I leave. I don't want to be near him right now. I go back to the kitchen and silently cry. I finally work up enough courage to go back out there. I get to the doorway and I stop. I listen to Charles and Caytlyn's conversation. "Dad?" She called him dad. She hasn't called me mom. Ugh, stupid Alli! "Promise me you'll be at the game Friday." I'll be there to. I'm guessing Charles went to his office and Caytlyn went to her room because I went out there and nobody was there. I walk to Caytlyn's room and I knock on the door. I open it and walk in. Caytlyn looks at me. "What?" I sigh and sit on her bed. "Cayt, I'm sorry." She shakes her head. "I know I was being an ass back there, but sometimes people deserve it." "I deserved it?" She sigh. "You were being a little brat and you wouldn't tell me or your father what was going on." She shakes her head and looks at the ground. "That's it. Give me your phone." I stick my hand out. "You're grounded for two weeks. Do anything else wrong, and you'll be grounded for four." She throws her phone at me. I grab her computer, iPad, and all her other electronics and leave. I go to Charles' office and knock on the door. He looks at me and I set the stuff in a chair. "She's grounded for two weeks." I walk over to him and hand him the phone. "Sometimes she has to learn." I walk out and he just stares at me. I go into the living room and sit on the couch. Did I really just do that?

Should I skip ahead to Friday or should I have something happen before that?
