Chapter 41
Charles POV
It's been two days since Caytlyns crash. It's also been two days since Emily arrived. We still haven't been able to see Caytlyn yet. We've asked the doctors numerous times, but they said that her injuries were too risky to have visitors visit. Alli was let out earlier this morning to go home. I'm sitting at the table at home, Alli's sleeping, and Lauren is helping out with Emily. I get a text from Danny. "Hey, I'm waiting out front. Lets go!" I close my phone and walk into the other room. Lauren's sitting in the rocking chair, holding Emily in her arms. "I'm gonna go. Danny's out front, and he's taking me to practice with the band." I told her. "Alright. I'll let Alli know you're gone." She said with a smile on her face. I nod and walk out of the room. I leave the house and walk out to Danny's car. "Hey man, you ready?" He asked me. I nodded and he backed out of the driveway. "What did you tell Alli?" He asked, concerned. "She was sleeping. I told Lauren that I was going to band practice." He nodded. Yep, you heard that right. I lied to Alli about where I was going. I don't want her to know. The whole car ride to the location was dead silent. It's weird, because it was really awkward. We arrived at the location and Danny let me out at the entrance. "Just call me when you need a ride home. I'll be more than willing to give you one." He told me, then threw an additional smile at the end of it. "Thanks Danny, I appreciate it." I close the car door and walk into the building. An officer approaches me. "Are you Charles Trippy?" He asked. I nodded and I followed him to a room. Inside were parents of the crash victims. Which is why I was there. An officer, and two doctors stood at the front of the room. "Good, now that everyone is here, we now may begin the meeting."

SORRY THIS IS SHORT AND KINDA LEFT OF ON A CLIFFHANGER! I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO WITH THIS, THAT'S WHY THERE'S TWO PARTS!
