When I Met Her.

I fell asleep, I didn't know I did until I woke up. I haven't slept so well in almost 5 months, I got up to wash my face until I was rushed with the harsh reality of what my life was now. My laptop was still opened on the bed beside me, sitting on my messy sheets waiting for me to begin my story, I want to be better, I don't want to be sad or hurt anymore but I knew a part of me would always be missing Eden, that's just how it would be. I did my bathroom business and walked downstairs to August and Austin making out on the table.
"Oh shit!"
Their lips pulled apart and they went yellow with shame
"Sidney! We weren't expecting you to leave your room, at least not this early!" Austin blurted out
I walked down the stairs with my hands on my eyes

"Yeah, well now I think I rather just eat in my room forever after seeing that!"
They both giggled
"Yeah, well I remember catching you and a certain someone sharing a very more than friendly kiss on this same table!" August said and Austin slapped his arm and gave him a shut-up-you-idiot look.
I was instantly washed with sadness and involuntarily tears trickled down my face and I sniffed "I have to go to the office so I'll see you guys later." I ran up the stairs quickly avoiding Austin and August.
"Wait. Sid! Don't go!" Austin yelled but I was already gone and my door slammed.
"I'm sorry!" August said burying his head in Austin's shoulder and Austin rolled his eyes.
"She hasn't been down here in months and the one time she did you managed to fuck it up in less that 3 minutes." Austin pushed away August's head and walked off shaking his head. "Un! be! liev! able!" He said slamming their bedroom door.
August let out a big sigh and headed up the stairs and to my room. He didn't bother knocking cause he knew I'd just ignore him so he just went straight in. I was in the shower with the bathroom door shut, the water sounded like rain and it was enough to mask the sound of me sniffling he saw the laptop open on the page with the title. He decided to type under it in point form.
"Store.
Father
•Cafe
Aton and Abel's Party
• Bahamas
•The Flight
• The Fight

We all heal in different ways, I'm so proud of you.
Xo August."

I haven't been to my office for almost a year and I had cases piled up, my dad took on a few and so did my brothers but I guess I needed a distraction, if anything could distract me at all but to my surprise my desk was clear!
"Miss Bishop! Your father said you wouldn't be back until two more months" Tesa said "Are you back?" She smiled
"Just needed a distraction" I mumbled
"Oh, okay. Well if you need anything just tell me."
What I wanted and needed she couldn't get, you can't buy it. I drew the curtains, sat at my desk, opened up my laptop and saw August's pointers, I found myself smiling a bit cause it really did help. I didn't know where to start but now I did. I put on my glasses and began typing.

Here starts: Too Early For September

I hate grocery shopping, I still do but I was single and well I needed food or what I like to call edible substance, I giggle at that every time I say it because you know...I'm a lesbian. Anytime I say I hate grocery shopping everyone looks so startled like it's a sin or something and they'd blurt out "Why!" all the while grabbing their chest, they really are overly dramatic but if I ever chose to respond it would be "I hate the way people stare" That was really a stupid lie, I just hated it, it was like a chore! What made it worst was the supermarkets in my area doesn't deliver, so I just huff and shop. I usually started with the veggies and as I was observing the corn I heard the sweetest, calmest English voice I've ever heard  "You don't want to buy that." I turned around and I knew I probably looked like an absolute idiot with my mouth wide open, staring at her lips, pale pink and thick. She took it out my hands, her fingers brushed past mine and they were soft, she turned the corn around "See? Worms?" She smiled. I managed to get the words thank you out of my mouth and she just went away, shopping effortlessly, without a care. I should've asked her for her number but that could've been weird, I was weird, my subconscious didn't agree but what did she know? I was sorta finished with shopping and mystery Lady was taking her bags out the door when her card wallet dropped out of her back pocket, I ran forward to pick it up and hand her but she got in her car and swerved off before I got outside.
