(Sapphire)

When I arrived at his house, he was sitting outside on a rock with his eyes closed. When I walked near him he opened his eyes and gave me a slight smile.

"It was starting to get late and I thought you weren't going to show," he said as he stood up.

"I didn't have anywhere else to go," I said as I followed him inside his house. It had very simplistic furniture with almost no decor. He took me into what I assumed what his room.

"I would have taken you to the guest room, but it is currently taken by a friend of my father's. Are you comfortable here? I also don't have another cot, I'll just sleep on the floor," he said as he started to make the bed.

"No, no! I'll sleep on the floor," I suggested as I put my hands on his shoulders.

"No, of course not. What type of man would I be if I let the woman sleep on the floor," he laughed slightly and then it hit me. I was going to be sleeping in the same room as a boy. I instantly flushed and backed down.

"Damn it," he muttered as he looked in his closet.

"What is it?" I asked quietly.

"I thought I had a spare pillow," he said as he scratched he back of his head.

"No, I can't let you sleep on the floor. Sleep on the bed with me if you want to," I lost all control on my mind and mouth. I backed down and flushed again. How could I let myself say something so embarrassing?!

"I mean, okay. I really don't want to sleep on the floor without a pillow because I have to train with Gai-sensei tomorrow," he agreed and then handed me a set of clothing.

"Alright, umm," I hummed and he nodded. He left the room and I started changing.

I wasn't one to think of dirty things, like Juvia and Erza on occasion, but I couldn't help it. I ran my fingers through my short hair and put on his shirt that matched the one he had on. I then changed my skirt and put on the shorts that he had given me, but they were way too short.

"Neji," I whispered as I creamed the door open.

"Yes?" he said without turning around.

"The pants are too big, so you have a ribbon or something?" I asked and he nodded.

"Can I come in?" he asked and I told him yes. He came in and pulled out a long ribbon from the same place he pulled out the clothing.

"Can you help me?" I asked as I held the pants up. They were so big I had to use both of my hand to ensure they wouldn't fall to the ground.

"Yes, of course," he said as he came up behind me. He wrapped the ribbon around the waistline of the pants. "There you go."

"Thank you," I let go and they stayed up and I smiled. There was a moment of silence before he got in the bed. I blushed deeply again and then slowly made my way to the bed. I sat on the bed and twiddled my fingers.

"I would suggest going to bed. I have to wake up early and you will probably wake up with me," he said and I nodded slightly.

I laid down and kept my back to him. The thought of me going to bed and just forgetting that he was even there passed my mind, but I kept thinking like Juvia. She was a little too crazy about Gray and she made it beyond obvious with her thinking.

I turned around because I felt restless and realized I was facing his back. A sense of relief passed by my as I sighed. But it only lasted a second because he turned around to face me and nudged closer, in attempt to not fall off the bed. I felt his breath on my face, so I moved down so I would be near his chest. I poked it with my forefinger and I saw his smirk. He then took his arms and threw them around me and pulled me closer like a teddy bear.

"Gah! What are you doing?" I said as I didn't move. Juvia and her thoughts invaded my mind and I plunged my face into his shirt.

"Shh," he said quietly, "I'm sleeping."

I chuckled into his shirt and he hugged me tighter. I fell asleep after that and so did he.

~~~.~~~
"-hire! Sapphire!" I heard someone yelling and I slowly woke up.
"Come on! I'm late!" Neji said frantically as he put on a different shirt. He threw my clothes at me. "Get changed!"
           (Levy)
Levy, Happy, and Carla sat in the cave arranging scraps of papers or reading the books from the shelves.
"Guys," she said as she closed a book, "we have this all wrong! The beloved song is not a literal song, it's a metaphor. In all these books, the stories end with a line from these papers. They are saying that the beloved song is something, a phrase, that must be said by the person to be brought back. These stories are all stories of people who have gone to different worlds and how they were able to get back! To get back they need to go through their story line and get to their 'beloved song'!"
"Wait," Carla said as she put the scraps of paper down, "so there are these books all around these different worlds? Of the people who have traveled to other worlds?"
"I assume so. For example," Lisanna started as she searched in the mess of books in front of her, "this one is about a girl named Irene traveling to a world where she is greeted by a host club and her love story. But there are multiple versions of these stories. I can't believe I didn't catch on!"
"Are these like different dimensions or are they all going to, theoretically, the same world with the same timeline?" Carla asked.
"I think it's the first one. They aren't going exactly the same place, more like the same setting, just restarted when they arrive. Sort of like a video game if you think about it," Levy responded as she flipped through the books she had already read.
"I think you're right," Happy said as 7 new books appeared on the shelf. He took them and handed them to Lisanna who flipped through them.
"These books are about our friends!"
