The Whole Nine Yards

Chapter 40

Arthit arrived in their school from his internship examination. He is trying to call Kongpob and that person isn't answering. Arthit told him this morning that they will go to home together so he can get his luggage and go back to his dorm. Yes, he stayed with Kongpob for 4 days.

'What is up with all these students in the faculty building?' he wondered as he saw students in different faculty uniforms.

'There he is.!!' shouted one.

Soon students gathered before him.

'Mr Infinite Sun!' they called him.

He looked at them, puzzled.

What prank is this?

Arthit looked around for his friends, particularly a sniggering Bright who might be playing a prank on him to welcome him back to school. When he can't find his friend, he tried spotting tv crews, who knew they might be filming here?'

'His skin is amazing.'
'Those photos don't do him justice.'
'Alabaster akin, wow.'
'Everything about him is perfect!'
His lips are too die for!'
'Im female and he has better skin and lips than me.'

Arthit took a step as the students were checking him out from head to toe.

'Can we take photos with you?!' they all cried out as if they are not already shoving their camera phones on his face.

Arthit did what he always does best when he can't understand a thing, he bolted to a nearby clasroom and locked the door.

' Darn it, what is happening?' he cursed upon entering

He called his friends, their own application must be done by now. But no one is answering. He turned on Facebook and soon, his notifications came flooding in. His eyes widened. Thousands of notifications.

It was when he saw it. His photos on ths Univeristy Caravan.

'So? Everybody probably got their own photos.Why am I getting all these notifications?' he wondered.

He read, 'only him got solo photos while rest of the exhibit photos of the delegation are group photos.' Then he saw the comments on his photos and he looked at them with disbelief.

'Are they for real? Why me? Why not Kongpob? Everybody was lining on him. Why are those students in our faculty? Why did I run from them?Because of this? Darn Im hungry and where is Kongpob?!'

He called M and Kong was with him.

'Where is your phone?' He yelled when Kong got the phone from M.

'Just throw it away if you wont birng it to school.' he ranted at his boyfriend.
'Calm down P. Where are you?' Kongpob ever composed person that he is, replied.
'Where am I? The first classroom on the first floor. There are students outside.'

When Kong arrived indeed the students are there. They all wanted photos with Arthit who is already standing outside.

'Im not a celebrity!' he snapped at them. But they kept on clicking their smartphones at him.

'Hes so cute!' one gushed.
'And shy!'
'And adorable!' added another.

Kong looked at them. They are supposed to be turned off by Arthit snapping at them not find it cute.

Arthit mumbled something about being hungry as soon as he saw Kong and his friends. In a heartbeat, students were offering him food, some even plush toys and chocolates.

Even Kong had to blink at that. Wow. They are something else. Kong saw Arthit is starting to frown, ' Arthit's mad face is only for me.' Kong thought.

'Let's go P.' He pulled the senior.

'No!!!!' the students called out

Arthit hissed at them and they all cooed how adorable Arthit is.

The two looked at each other and ran away. They ran until they reached the back of the grandstand.

Kong gave Arthit a sandwich, the senior almost blushed. Kongpob should stop putting moves like this on him.

'What about you?'
'I have here too.'

Kong gave him, a bottle of water.

'You havent eaten as well?' Arthit asked when Kong took a bite.
'No. M dragged me to the exhibit. PArthit..'
'Hmm?
'Dont you want to see your photos in the exhibit?'
'I already saw them online. I don't get why is this a big deal?

' Because everyone is crazy over you now. Because everyone realized how precious you are. The photos captured all sides of you that they previously were too ignorant to see. Because.... Because, somebody else saw and captured what I have been seeing all long.' Kong ranted in silently.

'Kong...' Arthit called him when the sophomore did not immediately answer.
'Because you got 8 solo photos?' Kong replied
'You didnt get one? With all those people lining up for you?'
'Jealous P.?' Kong teased.
'Those juniors are thinking of looks over their own education.' Arthit said with a frown.
'So, you mean I have the looks to distract them?'
'Where did that come from?' Arthit asked, unbelieving of what Kong was saying.
'You implied it, P'
'I did not.' Arthit denied.

Kong smiled at their banter.
'Im still hungry.' Arthit declared.
'Ready to face your admirers?'
'Shut.up.'

Arthit dragged Kong in an attempt to evade everyone.

Kong stopped him. 'P, slow.down.'
'But I do not want to get swarmed again. I just want to eat.' Arthit hissed.

'The best place to hide is out in the open.' Kong said.
'Huh?
' Walk normally, P. People tend to ignore what's right in front of their eyes.' Kong instructed.

They saw a group of girls ahead,
'Where did Mr. Infinite Sun go?'
'Maybe there.' one pointed past their direction.

The girls literally ran past them and Arthit snorted.

Kong smiled but then thought, 'Who is that perosn who did not overlook PArhit and instead captured how amazing he is?'

When they reached the canteen where they usually eat, Arthit heard sniggers that they both decided to eat in Kong's room.

As they were eating, Arthit noticed that Kongpob kept looking at him.

'Kongpob, concentrate on your food,' he ordered him.
'Can you be my food P?'
'Yuck.' He kicked him under the table.

Kongpob looked at the clock, it's already 9 pm.

'I'll take shower first. ' Arthit said.
Kong didnt reply.
'Kong.' he called him.
' Oh,okay, P.'

Kong watched as Arthit went his luggage and then headed to the shower.

Inside, Arthit feels like he is missing something. Why did Kongpob look surprised when he asked to shower first? When Arthit went out in his sleeping clothes, Kongpob now can't hide his smile.

'Kongpob! What is it this time?' he snapped at his grinning boyfriend.
'Nothing P' Kong scoffed.
'Kongpob...'
'Well PArthit, I have no complaints if you want to move in together.' Kong said.

'What do you---'

Arthits eyes widened. He was supposed to get his luggage and go back to his dorm and not stay here.

Kong winked at him. Arthit is rooted on his spot. Kong stood up and handed him something.

It was a key.

'What willl I do with this?'he barked at him.
'Oh, I thought we live together now. '

Arthit grabbed the key and threw it back to Kongpob. Then he went to the bed and covered his face with the comforter, ' Why did I just automatically prepare for sleep here like its the most natural thing to do?'

Kong just laughed at his senior's antics.

' Have fun at my expense, you evil Kongpob.' Arthit thought.
