Chapter 23

Arthit was buying his food when Kong arrived and greeted him.

' PArthit.'

Arthit just stared at him. After Kong got his food, the two of them kept staring at each other. Indeed, they had already talked and reconnected but it seems the two of them do not know how proceed from here on, again.

Then out of nowhere...

'Are you two just going to stare at each other or you are going to move?'
'Bright! Arthit hissed.

Bright just stepped behind Kong.

' Behind Kong,  I'm pretty untouchab---'

Kong moved to the table leaving Bright so open for Arthit to hit him.

' Yes Bright?' Arthit cocked his brows at him.
' You Kongpob! Disrespecting your senior!' Bright accused the sophomore.

' Sorry but the other senior is more important, PBright' Kong said then winked at Arthit.

'Kongpob!' Arthit chided him.
' Arthit relax. The students in our Faculty knows about the two of you.'Knot, the ever reliable one, intervened.

Arthit just turned away and sat opposite Kong.

'Kong.' someone called him
It was Kai who greeted the senior. Arthit just looked at him

'P..".Kong hissed at Arthit when he did not greet Kai back.
' So you two are together,  really?' Kai asked with no holds barred.

Bright choked on his drinks.
' Here I am thinking, I had no filter' Brighy quipped.

Arthit threw Bright a threatening look, thus he scrambled to join their friends in the other table.

' What do you need, sophomore?' an annoyed Arthit asked.
'Seems he has not redeemed himself yet Kong. The third law of economics stands, perfect car should be chosen over good car.'
' Just eat there Kai.' Kong sighed.

Kai excused himself and joined Kong's friends.

'What rubbish was he spewing just now?' a baffled Arthit asked Kong who explained what happened.

' Was that economics? What were you thinking about when you said that crap?'Arthit demanded.

Kong had the audacity to look uneasy before answering,

' I was thinking about you.'

Arthit blushed. Kongpob.is
shameless. Period. Then he pondered on what Kong said. ' He was that affected? He knew Kong is one brightest students but he recited crap because of their, what should he call them, issues?

' So that person redeeming himself in the end, you were referring to me?' Arthit clarified.
' Yes.'
' Kai thinks I haven't changed redeemed myself because I lashed out at him?
' Well, he didn't see you control yourself in front of those first years.' Kong countered.

Arthit blushed.

' You have that faith in me?'
' Well,  I did promise to always be beside you eh? Kong replied while looking at the senior as if daring him to contradict what he said.

' Kongpob' Arthit sighed.
' You can't let your studies get affected like that' he added.
' But...'
' Promise me.' Arthit prodded the younger man.
' What do I get in return?' Kong bargained with mischief clear on his eyes.
'Well it has something to do with your future' Arthit mysteriously said.
'Really.' Kong perked up.
' Once you have it, no one else can ever take it.' Arthit described further

Kong is excited now. Darn what could it be?
' Once you experienced it,  you'll never be the same.' Arthit whispered.

Kong's mind is about to short circuit. Could it be, could it be... Is PArthit  talking about sexy times? He wondered, now fully interested with what the senior is offering.

' What do you say, up for it?' Arthit asked with a smirk, knowing fully well he's got Kong's interest now.
'Yes please. What is it, P?' he eagerly asked.

Kong's heart is beating so fast in anticipation of Arthit's answer. Then after what seemed like eternity, Arthit answered,

'Good education.'

Kong  gaped at the older man who just burst out laughing at Kong's disappointed look.

'What were you thinking about, eh, Kongpob? Arthit prodded him.

Kongpob just clenched his jaw that made Arthit laugh again.

Then, Toota who just entered the cafeteria spotted them.  Bright who just bought  abottle of water was following him

'Did you know,' Toota opened.
'What? Arthit asked.
'The Dragon took a leave.' Toota answered.
'Yes, seems she can't take what happened with Kai.' Bright added.

Toota hit Bright.

'What? Isn't that the reason?' Bright asked as he rubs his shoulder that Toota hit. This whale got fast reflexes. Bright thought.

' No. She just attended a conference and training in Beijing for at least two weeks. Don't be exaggerated, Bright.' Toota hissed at Bright.

'We got a new teacher in our subjects then' Kong stated.
' I wonder who it might be.'
' Why are you curious, you don't have any subject with Prof Dragon.'
' New blood = new one we can talk about.'

Bright, looked ahead and saw a middle aged  man,  with greying hair and mustache wearing thick eyeglasses and carrying a worn out leather bag. He was walking towards them and stopped behind the back of Arthit.

'NongArthit, you will not even greet me? I thought we raised you better than that.' the man said.

Bright, in the four years he has known Arthit,  has never seen him stiffen that swiftly.
