The Whole Nine Yards

Chapter 53

Arthit is torn between his friends and Kongpob. He wanted to spend time with Kong as well but the sophomore declined to go with them saying he has to meet his friends too.

'Are you sure?' Arthit asked the sophomore as he walked him to his dorm.
' Yes,P. It's better this way so you will miss me.'
'Yak.'

But they smiled at each other.

'Win the game for me.' Kong said.
'What do I get?' Arthit teased, taking a page from Kongpob's book of rewards.
'Everything. Question though, P...'

Arthit cheeks turn red as Kongpob paused to bite that sinful lower lip of his, raised his brow at him and whispered,

'How much can you handle P?'

Arthit's eyes widened and pushed the sophomore.

'Why are you like this?' Arthit yelled but his eyes are still drawn to that plump lower lip of Kongpob which the sophomore bit moments ago.

Kong tracked the eyes of the senior and retorted, 'I'm making you see what you will miss for five weeks, PArthit.'
'Nothing.' Arthit responded.

Kong smiled yet Arthit felt nervous as the sophomore's stare zeroed on his lips. He covered his lips and Kong just laughed.

'Bye PArthit.'

Arthit nodded and the sophomore walked away.

'Oi Kong...' he called out
'Yes P.'
' Me--... message me!'

Kong chuckled as the senior struggled to complete that last sentence to him.

'Hmmm, I won't, so you will miss me and who knows your control might snap.' Kong winked at him.
'You!'

Kong laughed and continued walking.

'He really wont message me? Thats how it is then.' Arthit thought.

They went to play basketball with Knot's friends from their village. To their surprise, some girls are there, handing out water and towels to their boyfriends.

'I hate this,' Bright declared
'Why Bright?'
'Must they really shove it in our faces that we dont have anyone giving us those,' Bright lamented.

Arthit doesnt know if Bright really meant what he said. But staring at them, even Arthit wished someone gives him water too. Then image of Kongpob flashed in his mind, Arthit shook his head, his fann was already too much this morning.

After the game, Mike, Knot's friend, invited them to their house for lunch.
They saw two guys preparing the food.

'Hey Liam,' Knot called.
'Oi Knot.'
'My friends'
'This is Jaimie my boyfriend' Liam who is Mike's younger brother and a junior, introduced the one standing beside him.
'Wow. You surprised me there,' Knot said.
' I suprised myself too.'

They laughed. Jaimie was on the slender side, with unkempt hair giving him that edgy look. Even Arthit and Knot had to blink to make sure if he was really a guy because of his soft features.

Jaimie smirked at them. These guys really are mesmerized when they see him for the first time

'Let's play videogames.'
'We are going to eat first,Jaimie'
'Okay Lili.'

'Your girlfriends?' Bright asked as they started eating.
'Can't stand us when we 'eat like boars' Mike said.
'On diet.' the other added.
'Amongst us, Liam and Jaimie is the standard in relationship. Mike praised them.
'Really?'
'They are like the moon and sun of our school.'
'Oh.'

Jaimie smiled. Yes, he and liam are the IT couple. They have been together just this summer but they everyone is looking up to them.

Arthit was surprised when Mike said,

' Sometimes I consider crossing to the other side and play for the other team, like them'
'Hear hear.' the other confirmed
'No needless drama and constant handholding.' Mike said
'Don't generalize everyone.' Prem said.
'Do you even love your girlfriends if you are ranting like that?' Liam asked
'We love them but we want peace too.' Mkke said
'And videogame dates like Liam and Jaimie.'
'Saves a lot of money.' the other affirmed.

They laughed. But Arthit had to blink. He never really thought of guy and guy relationship that way. Well, he was never in a relationship before so its not like he had something to compare what he has with Kong. Could it be that I have focused more on the limits?'

'Guy and guy relationships have limits but they got perks too. For one, no one's afraid of a wailing baby 9 months after.'

They laughed and Bright was waggling his brows at him. Arthit glared at him.

'See Lili, don't let me go.'
'Fine.'

They laughed at the easy banter of the two. Then Mike looked at them.

'You guys...which side are you on?' he asked.
'No side since we're single.' Knot said.
'All of you?'
'Nah, Arthit here is taken.' Jaimie saw the senior give his friend a threatening glare when Bright is about to say something more.

'You have a fann.' Mike confirmed
'Yes.' Arthit confirmed
Good for you, thank him for saving your group!' Mike mocked them.
' Hey!' his friends protested.

Jaimie was left wondering who the senior's fann might be. Why all the secrecy? The senior exudes that strong aura that engineering students seem to have, so maybe a cute girl to balance him out?

That night, they decided to go to a club and Arthit was suprised when Kong and his friends were there as well.

They greeted them.
'You know them?'
'Our juniors.'
'Wow, can we join you guys? Jaimie asked.
'Sure.'

Liam just turned his head at Jaimie, he really likes to show off especially to strangers. He takes the phrase, 'out and proud' to a new level. Liam adores him so he let's him be.

After the introductions, as expected, Jaimie upped the ante. He leaned closely on Liam and begun asking him what he wants to drink . Liam smiled at Jaimie, said his order, placed his arms around him.

Jaimie smiled, expecting usual reaction when people discovers they are together, that the moon of the university is with him. But to his suprise, everyone on the table was busy getting to know each other.

Jaimie's brows bumped. They act like like nothing out of the ordinary happened. Jaimie saw Arthit was away from his friends and is seated beside one of the juniors whose name is Kongpob. The junior has the charming smile and is very good looking with his toned shoulders and menacing eyes as he looked at Arthit. He saw girls looking at Kongpob earlier before Arthit sat beside him. Kong placed ice on his glass and offered it to Arthit who drank it.

Jaimie saw the senior gave an amused look to the junior. Arthit placed his arm on the sophomore's shoulders and the younger guy leaned on Arthit. Are they close friends or what?

'Hey, you two. Stop reminding us of our singlehood curse!' Bright yelled.
' Yes!' their friends agreed as they threw some peanuts and chips to the two who just laughed.

'No way!'Mike exclaimed.
'What?'
'PArthit, he's your fann?' Mike asked, his eyes wide.

Arthit just nodded, his ears turning red which his fann touched. Arthit hit Kongpob's hand as the junior just chuckled.

Jaimie's mouth dropped open. Arthit looks like a notorious guy and he is with this junior who seem to make the girls swoon as well...this is mindblowing.
