Before I present to you the finalists of Historical Fiction, I have many things to say. The stories I have read for this genre have blown away my expectations. I loved all of your stories so much, and it was so hard to cut some of your entries out, but in the end, I had to narrow it down, and unfortunately some of your entries didn't make the cut.
I also understand that not all of you are the same age, some of you are probably under the Wattpad age requirement, but I had to judge all of you fairly and equally, so I did not account for age when judging your stories. I apologize to those of you who may be younger, but the point of this was to be fair, and being fair means ignoring age.
I'll be messaging all of you with your rubrics, and some pointers to help you improve your story. Please remember that all of this is for fun, and no matter who advances, all of you are wonderful writers for a very simple reason:
You wrote a story that you are proud of, you uploaded it onto the world wide web, on this website, on Wattpad, and you entered it in this contest. All of you should be very proud of what you've accomplished, and I look forward to our continued relationship as you all improve as writers. Please do not be discouraged by your disqualification, and remember that you'll probably be wining some sort of award anyway, because a lot of the entries had perfect scores in one section or another of the rubric.
Now, without further adieu, the Historical Fiction Finalists in no particular order:
Esperanza - CaramelFrappe2000
Shatru Sesham: Sequel of Baahubali - shailajapvl
The Shipping Heiress - LisaHiggins3
Seven Moscow Winters - lepus_leporis
