Jennifer stormed into the living room to where Colin and Avery were talking. Why did Colin never come and find her? "You knew all along! Why didn't come and find us?" Jennifer said angrily. "I-"
"You lied to me on the phone. You acted like you didn't know about Avery. How could you do this to Avery and to... me?" Jennifer said raising her voice. "Jen-" Colin touched her arm. "Stop! Get out!" Jennifer pointed to the door. "Mom, it's ok. I want to get to know him," Avery walked over to Jennifer trying to calm her down. "No, he doesn't deserve that," Jennifer shook her head. Colin started to head for the door. He didn't want to make Jennifer more upset and he hated how she was mad at him. When Colin opened the door to leave Ginny and Josh were just about to knock on the door. "Oh Colin, why are leaving so early?" Ginny questioned. "Because he is a jerk!" Jennifer yelled. "Nice to see you two again. I just... I better get going," Colin hurried away. "I guess we missed a lot," Josh joked.

"Mom, why did you do that?" Avery said angrily. "He remembered everything a long time ago, and he never came to find us," Jennifer explained to Avery. "Maybe he had a good reason?" Avery said annoyed. "No, we can't trust him," Jennifer said. She looked like she was about to cry. Avery had never seen her mom so weak before. "I'm gonna go to my room," Avery said. She walked to her room and closed the door.

"So Colin knew all along?" Ginny asked. "Yeah, Justyna told me," Jennifer looked at Justyna. "Yeah, that's why I haven't talked to Colin in a while. I kept telling him to talk to you, but he didn't want to. He kept saying that Jennifer didn't love him anymore because she left," Justyna explained. "But I did still love him. I needed him. I needed him to be with me and Avery," Jennifer said. "Do you still love him?" Justyna asked curiously. "No! How could I? He abandoned me and Avery," Jennifer snapped. "The way I see this is that it's all a huge misunderstanding," Ginny said. "What do you mean?" Jennifer questioned. "While from Colin's point of view you left him when he didn't remember you. You abandoned him. You didn't have any faith in him and weren't willing to fight for him," Ginny tried to put Jennifer in Colin's shoes. "But he knew about Avery. Why wouldn't he want to meet his daughter?" Jennifer questioned. "I don't know Jen, but I think that you should give him a change or at least just talk to him," Ginny suggested. "At the moment I don't know if he deserves that," Jennifer said quietly. "While he might not deserve a chance, but Avery deserves to know her father."

Jennifer decided to talk to Avery and tell her everything. "Avery?" Jennifer knocked on her bedroom door. "Yeah, mom?" Avery answered. "I thought that maybe we could talk," Jennifer opened the door. "I don't get it, why were you so mad at Colin?" Avery asked. "While you were talking to Colin in the living room Justyna told me that after I left him he eventually remembered everything," Jennifer explained. "What's so bad about that?" Avery asked confused. "While he never came to find us. He didn't want to be with me... I mean us," Jennifer corrected herself. Maybe her anger stemmed from Colin and her's unresolved relationship, not about Avery. "Maybe he had a good reason. I think we should have given him a chance to explain," Avery said. "Avery I don't know..." Jennifer trailed off. "Mom please, I want to know him," Avery plead.  Jennifer could tell that Avery was not going to let this go. Even if Jennifer told her no Avery would probably just find another way. "Ok fine I will talk to him, but I am going to talk to him alone," Jennifer said.
