Let me tell you how it feels to fall for someone who could never fall for you but lead you on instead.
It fucking hurts, and possibly hurting is an understatement. It's an ache, it's a empty hole left in the middle of your stomach and heart. It's a mess that some how never gets cleaned up, it's a scar on your body one that you'll have for the rest of your life and you'll remember how badly it hurt even if you can't see it anymore. It's a story you'll never cease to forget no matter how much you really wish you could. It all stays with you in ways you couldn't even begin to imagine. Yes time passes don't get me wrong but it doesn't make the hurt less important it just means the hurt is sustainable until you are reminded of something that once was and everything comes rushing back. Every feeling, every kiss, every smile, everything you swore you wanted to forget flashes before your eyes and then it's gone.... in an instant it's gone. Just like it felt when he left you just like it felt when he told you he wasn't ready, when in real words it really meant he wasn't ready for you and would never be ready for you. You loved someone who wasn't ready, and maybe you weren't ready yourself but you damn well tried. Because when you love someone you try, when you love someone you risk it all knowing every single consequence, every single repercussion.
