"You're gonna be fine, Lunabear." Jonah spoke softly rubbing the girls shoulder. She had told all the boys about what's been happening with her dad and somehow they had all convinced her to go have breakfast with him. So here they are, packed inside the van waiting to see her off. "Thank you, Jo. And thank you guys, I know right now you would much rather be hanging out with your families." She smiled while looking around at her five best friends who had taken her from 0-100 after her mother passed away. "And hey, if you can't handle it or it just gets to be too much, I'm only a phone call away." She smiled at her. favorite boy before leaning across the center console to give him a kiss. She turned around to give hugs, the best she could, to the boys. Most of them just ended up with a kiss on the cheek before she climbed out of the car and to the front step of the coffee place her and her dad had agreed on. Through the window, she could see him waiting with his hands wrapped around a warm coffee. She took a deep breath and walked into the coffee shop. When she got up to the table where he sat, she saw an iced coffee already waiting there for her which told her that he hadn't been there long. She put her fingers lightly on the fabric of his grey t-shirt. "Luna." He said with a smile when he saw her. He got up quickly and gave her a bone crushing hug. "I'm so sorry, for everything really." He said to her once he pulled away. She smiled back the crooked smile he loved, and softly replied. "It's okay, if anything I should apologize for not talking to you for so long." After their short apologies they sat down at the table and talked each others ears off. Luna spoke about all the crazy tour stories and of where she went. She filled him in on her life since the last she spoke to him, which mostly consisted of her speaking about the boys and mostly Daniel. But what else was she going to talk about? Her boys were here entire life. Daniel was her world so she really didn't have much to talk about. After the meeting with her dad, she called Daniel to pick her up. He sped over there in Luna's old car from when she was in High School. When Luna saw that old beat up car she couldn't have been more happy. When Daniel pulled up to the car she leaned against the door and spoke to the boy in the front. "You know you're not driving this back right?" She playfully questioned. "Didn't think so." He joked with her. And with that Daniel got out of the car and they traded spots. "So how did it go?" He asked her once they pulled away. "Actually really good. We apologized and then just filled each other in on our lives." He smiled over at her and then grabbed her hand. The ride was silent for the rest of the way home. Luna truly felt, for the first time in months, that there was no longer another missing piece to her puzzle, there would always be that void of her mother, but at least for now she felt content.
