~Part Twenty-Four~

For the six friends who have just gotten back from being on the move 24/7 and being in different countries almost everyday for the past however many months, it was quite a treat to just be able to hang out at the lake for a couple days. And although Luna tried her best to force the 5 people she loves most in the world to sleep, all they did was have fun like normal kids. In fact, they more so forced sleeping on the brunette. Now lets go on a trip to a couple months back, before the tour started and even before their radio tour and Jingle Ball.

Before tour, Luna didn't spend every waking moment by the boys' side. In fact she only saw them a couple times a week. One day, the boys had an interview in the near by area. Luna and her dad, Rich, had been having a rough time lately. Mostly because Luna decided that college wasn't the thing for her, at the moment. She wanted to focus more on herself and figuring out what she really wanted to be. This did not slide by well with Rich. In fact it got so bad that they were screaming until their faces were red. It got so incredibly bad for Luna that she went into a severe panic attack. She doesn't remember much, but from Rich it was the most heartbreaking thing he's gone through after losing his wife.

Luna stomped her way upstairs to her bedroom before slamming the door as hard as she could and locking. It really all caught up to her when she was alone. She fell to the ground sobbing and screaming that she couldn't breathe. She finally got up only to fall right back down slamming her head onto her bedside table. All while this was happening, Rich was trying to break down the bedroom door, and at this point he didn't care what damage he was doing. By the time the door was swung open, Luna was already knocked out on the carpeted floor.

Rich quickly scooped to small girl into his arms running to his car. And at this moment, the Why Don't We boys were getting out of there van, when Daniel looked over when he heard his name being called, his heart dropped into the ground. Instantly he was bounding across the street getting into the backseat with his girlfriend.

To sum the story up, this incident caused Luna to get brain surgery to stop a brain bleed. She was also diagnosed with a severe case of anxiety and had to be put on medication.

Her recovery was long and painful, not only to her but to the ones who loved her. Daniel spent as many hours and days that he could in the hospital with her. Luna understood that he couldn't be there all the time. But as soon as she recovered, and with some begging, she was able to go on the Jingle Ball tour with them and be there with them to not only play there first arena show, but to play Madison Fucking Square Garden. She then got a couple months refill on her meds so that she could go on the Invitation Tour with her boys. She still wasn't as comfortable around her dad anymore. Some stories go that all was well and she forgave him or he forgave her. But it was only half  true. Rich forgave his daughter while Luna hadn't talked to him in months. After-all, after he said all those hurtful things and gave her a panic attack so bad she had to get brain surgery, who would.

This all brings her to current day, siting on a speed boat with Christina while Corbyn and Daniel were pulled on a float behind them desperately trying not to fall off. In this moment, all was well. Then didn't have to worry about pleasing fans around the world or about posting anything. All that mattered was that they were young, it was summer, and they wer having fun.
