~Chapter Twenty-One~

"Zach! Wake up! We are literally going to be late if you do not get up now!" Is all that could be heard on the morning of the boys birthday. Luna had been the one to wake up all the boys every morning of the tour starting with Daniel and always ending with Zach. Even though it was his birthday, they still had things to do. They still had to get up and get ready for the show.
"Baby, why can't we just leave him?" Luna spoke to her boyfriend who was sitting down on the bed with his phone in hand. And without looking up from his phone he responded, "Because, do you know how many angry fangirls that would be going after everyone? It would literally be World War lll." She just rolled her eyes and then resorted to pulling the boy by his ankles off of the bed. "Okay! I'm up!" Is all the boy tiredly yelled out. "It only took you half an hour!" Zach just shrugged the smaller girl off and went to the bathroom to get ready.
"Alright I'm going to go see if the other boys have gotten ready yet, which they probably have because they aren't Zach!" But before she could go anywhere Daniel grabbed onto her hips to keep her in place. "Have you taken your medicine?" he asked kindly while looking straight into her eyes. She rolled hers and turned around to grab the pills out of her bag. Daniel tossed her a bottle and sat back down on the bed. "Happy?" She asked walking over to Daniel and standing between his legs. "Very." He smiled and leaned up to give her a kiss to which she responded to quickly having done it millions of times. "I still don't know why you obsess over my meds all the time." She said once they parted. He stood up and they were suddenly very close. He grabbed her hands and brought them to his lips so he could kiss them. "Because I do not ever want to see you lying in a hospital bed ever again." She looked down recalling the memory. "It wasn't even that bad," Before they could finish Jonah walked into the room asking if they were ready.
"Yeah, the only one left is Zach of course." Luna laughed. The eldest boy laughed and shook his head. "Damn, even on his birthday." They all just shrugged. Daniel and Luna grabbed their stuff that they needed and left the room to go back to the bus. Daniel pounded on the bathroom door, a signal they had created, to let Zach know that they were leaving the room.
They walked all the way to the bus in complete silence. This happened a lot in the mornings just because they were all so tired. Sometimes it really got to Luna and the boys, all the traveling and running around. It's all the boys have dreamed of since they were young but of course they didn't realize the huge toll it would take on them. And don't get them wrong, they love what they do. Most of the time Luna really had to pull through for the boys because they just needed to sleep. The five boys will always obsess over if the fans have had enough content posted, or they didn't want the fans to feel like they didn't appreciate and love them. Luna had been their anchor. She was like an extra sibling to all of the boys, excluding Daniel of course. She was always just there to make sure they were keeping themselves grounded and making sure they were getting enough sleep, or if they were taking care of themselves. It was really reassuring to the boys to know that if they just needed a hug or a shoulder to lean on, that their dear old Luna was always there.
When they got inside the bus, everyone was already there, with the exception of Zach of course. But it was only about 10 minutes later and Zach was done and ready for the day. They set of rather quickly to go do some interviews. When they arrived at the building there was a ton of Limelights surrounding the building waiting for the five boys. "I swear they are all like super spies! How do they even find out where we're going?" Luna thought out loud. Everyone just shrugged and before they knew it, they were parked in the back and walking inside the building.
One thing that about Luna and Daniel, or Laniel if you ask the limelights, is that you will almost never see them not touching each other in some way. Wether it's Daniel's hand on her back or they're holding hands. The two just felt more comfortable and less out of place if they were making physical contact.
Hours and hours had past and the Luna was waiting backstage with a cake in her hand while Eben tried desperately to get the candles lit quickly. Finally when they were lit, the manager spoke to the boys telling them that she was coming out. The boys were just messing around waiting for her. Finally the girls started screaming even louder when they saw the dark haired girl come out with her hand blocking the wind from blowing out the candles. "Awe!" Zach spoke into the mic when he saw her. He knew that she was coming out but didn't know she had a cake. "Alright guys, help us sing happy birthday to Zach!" Jonah told the audience. And very quickly everyone was singing. Luna was stood right next to Zach holding the cake. Once the song was over he blew out the candles. Before anyone could blink Luna held the back of his head and smashed his face into the cake. Laughter filled the big space as Zach stood shocked. "Baby, you're so amazing. This is why I love you." Daniel spoke and came around to hug her and kiss her before she picked up the tray the cake was on and walked off stage. The fans were used to seeing them kiss but it was still super exciting to them so the got really loud to the point here Luna was sure her ears were bleeding.
After the concert they were back on the bus and back on the road. Today was really fun but it really wore everyone out. So Luna and Daniel almost instantly fell asleep in the back of the bus.
