"Come on Ralph. Let’s get you home" I said offering my hand as I stood up to try and pull him up with me.

"Lola. I don't think you understand." Ralph said refusing my hand. "I was going to kill you. How can you forgive me that quickly? I need to meet Max in a few hours’ time. Just before dawn. You go back home. I will be fine."

"Max" I spat. "The guy who raped me! Why the hell do you want to meet him?" I stopped to let myself catch my thoughts together. Then it hit me hard. He was going to murder Ralph wasn't he? "Oh no, I don't think that's a good idea. Do you?"

"I do." Ralph said, acknowledging that I now knew what he meant.

I picked up my mobile and kept my eyes on Ralph making sure he was in safe hands. Should I call the police? I thought. No. they won't do much. I will call Dan.

The phone rang for quite some time.

"Come on Dan. Answer your fricking phone."

Dan's P.O.V

I lay myself down on top of the duvet covers staring at the ceiling when my phone began to vibrate. (Cheeky)

I jumped off the bed and ran to the door where my mobile was charging.

A photo of Lola with her waffles the photo she took on that first time we spent together, flashed up on the screen. I gave no hesitation and picked up the phone.

"Lola?" I breathed out hoping she was alright.

"Don't ask any questions. Get your ass down to the woods now. Just do it for your friend."

Before I had any time to say anything more the phone buzzer beeped. She had ended the call.

I was already still wearing my clothes so I slipped my white converses on, rubbed my eyes to wake myself up and made my way to the woods.

There is something about woods that when you are on your lonesome self.

I carried on walking down the path when I heard Lola scream. "DAAAANNN QUICKLY"

I picked up my feet and began to run. Dunking my head under the sloping branches. Running towards the direction of where the sound was coming from.

When I approached there was the guy who owned the house, the guy who was on Jeremy Kyle, and the guy who I blame everything for. He was there strapping Lola to a tree next to an already ducked tapped tree that had Ralph attached to it.

My mouth dropped. I looked up. There was a large thick rope dangling down with a small loop at the end.
