Louis decided to go for a walk again, though this time it was in the direction towards Liam's house.

It had been a while since he last hung out with his friend. He couldn't even remember the last time they both hung out without the others, but he really missed it. He loved Zayn and Niall, but Liam was the best when it came to quiet movie nights with hot cocoa and blankets. Louis wasn't in the mood for getting drunk and watching football matches nowadays, especially after his mother's death.

His depression had gotten worse, and it was draining him slowly. Harry was always the one who took care of him and made sure he was alright, but Louis felt guilty. His fiancé probably just wanted to live a simple life with the man he loved, but now he had to spend his days with a broken man, who had insecurity issues and suicidal tendencies. Louis felt horrible. He wanted to be healthy again, and not just for his future husband, but for himself.

They had been making out against the kitchen door before Louis had gone out, whispering «I love you» to each other in soft whispers and chuckles. Harry had actually kissed him so much that Louis still felt his beautiful man's lips on him. It was weird how it still felt like they were 16 and 18 sometimes, having this need to touch and kiss each other constantly.

As he rang on Liam's doorbell, he couldn't help blushing at the thought of his fiancé back at home, who had promised to make his favorite for dinner with his favorite dessert (that may or may not have included sex). Louis was glad that it didn't take too long before his friend came to invite him inside, considering the low temperature outside.

"Lou," Liam greeted with a big smile, "I've missed you."

Louis was about to respond, but he was caught off guard when Liam brought him in for a firm hug. The scent of his cologne was almost drowning him, not to mention the way he was rubbing his hands all over Louis' back. His eyebrows furrowed in confusion, nevertheless he still accepted the embrace, as he was yearning for comfort from someone else other than his fiancé. He hugged back, giggling when he heard Liam burping accidentally in his ear.

"Jesus, I have just eaten," Liam said sheepishly, pulling away from
the embrace, "I'm sorry, mate."

"It's alright," Louis laughed, "by the way, I've missed you too."

"Do you want some tea?" Liam asked, walking into his kitchen to make the kettle ready, "I know you want some."

"Yes, please."

As he sat down on the leather couch that was in the living room, he noticed how weird the house looked now. It had been quite a while since last time he visited, which was self-explanatory when all he could see was the latest tech around him. His eyes widened in surprise to see the huge flat screen TV in front of him, as well as Liam's hundred video games that were scattered on the floor. Harry was obsessed with video games too, but Liam was on a whole another level lately.

Speaking of the devil, he came back with two cups of hot tea in his hands, walking slowly towards him to not spill anything. Louis tried hard not to laugh at his nervous grimaze. Fortunately, Liam put them down succesfully on the coffee table in front of them before plopping himself down on the couch beside him. He had a pleased expression on his face, though Louis could see a hint of worry in Liam's eyes, which had not been there a few minutes ago.

"How is Harry?" he asked softly, keeping his eyes locked on Louis' face, "are you guys okay?"

Louis nodded, leaning forward to take a sip of his tea. "We're alright, but it kind of sucks how we haven't started on our wedding plans yet."
