CHAPTER 5- Woah!
Demi's POV
"That was the best egg sandwich i've ever had." I moaned, leaning back again the couch. Jake hummed in agreement, having finished his five minutes ago.
I turned my head towards him and smiled, "Thank you."
Jake moved closer and smiled back, "You're welcome."
My eyes flickered to his lips and he slowly leaned in, only to be met by mine halfway.
The kiss was deep, slow, and passionate. We pulled away for air only for me to pull his head towards mine again. Too soon, he pulled away with a lazy expression and touched my cheek with his hand, I couldn't help but lean into it.
"What am I gonna do with you?" He murmured, making me smile.
"Kiss me?"
Once again, Jake leaned forwards and wrapped an arm around my waist, pulling my body closer to his. I felt an overwhelming sense of peace grow within me as my body pressed to his along with my lips. Soon, I moved up so I was straddling him, My hands knotted in his hair as his arms locked around my waist. My tongue brushed along the contour of his bottom lip and Jake pushed his gently into my mouth. By now we were both gasping for air as we feverishly attached our mouths again and again.
Suddenly the front door opened, "Demi where- WOAH!"
We broke apart to see Natalie standing in the doorway with a shocked expression. I scrambled off of Jakes's lap and onto the couch.
"Natalie! Hi! Uhm... This is Jake." He smiled and waved awkwardly.
Natalie just giggled and covered he mouth, "I'll just... I'll leave you two alone then." With that, she shut the door. I could hear her laugh from out side and my face flushed.
"Oh my God." I moaned, falling back onto Jake's chest as he too laughed. "That was so awkward!"
Jake nodded and kissed my forehead, "Maybe it was a good thing that she interrupted us."
I frowned, "Why?"
He smiled and leaned his forehead against mine, "I don't wanna go too fast."
And just like that, I knew I was falling for him.
