CHAPTER 13- Meet the Parents
Demi's POV
"Don't be nervous." I murmured, straightening Jake's tie as we stood at the door of parent's house.
He smiled, and grabbed my hands.
"I'm not. You are. Now calm down, everythings gonna be okay."
I nodded and titled my face upwards, sighing when he placed a soft kiss on my lips.
"I'm sorry, it's just... I haven't had the best luck in relationships and the last guy who met my parents cheated on my two weeks later so... I don't know this is just a really big step for me you know?"
Jake frowned, and kissed my forehead.
"Everything is going to be fine baby, I promise."
"I hope you're right." I murmured, then knocked on the door.
It was opened immediately to reveal my mother, making me suspicious of her eversdropping.
"Oh, you're here! Guys, Demi's here! Come on in you two!"
With a smile, I pulled Jake inside. I could tell her was a bit perplexed by my mother's enthusiasm, even though we was trying not to show it.
"Mom, this is Jake. Jake, this is my mom Dianna."
He flashed a charming smile and held out his hand, "Nice to meet you Mrs.DelaGarza."
My mom waved Jake off and pulled him into a hug, "Oh no, call me Dianna."
Jake nodded, "Dianna."
I heard the sound of running footsteps, and Maddie burst into the living room, "Demi!"
"Hey babygirl!" I squealed, and ran over to hug her."
"Oh my God is that him? He's SO hot!" She murmured in my ear, making me pinch her side.
"Back off babe. He's a little old for you."
More footsteps sounded, and Dallas appeared, "Hi, I'm Dallas. And you are?" She giggled flirtatiously.
I let go of Maddie and brushed past her, "Mine." I muttered, knowing that if I hadn't Dallas would be all over him in five seconds.
"I'm Jake. Demi's-"
"Boyfriend." I finished for him, snaking my arm around his waist.
"Well, Well, Well. If it isn't the famous Jake." A voice sounded behind us, we all turned to see Eddie, not smiling.
