CHAPTER 7- Girlfriend?
Demi's POV
Jake drove to the top of the cliffs that over hung the Hollywood sign where a beautiful sunset was taking place. We sat on the hood of his car and snuggled up, the perfect moment.
"Demi?"
I looked up at Jake and smiled, "Mmm?"
His eyes were warm, but his hands fidgeted nervously. "Will you... officially, be my girlfriend?"
A huge smile broke out of my face as I leaned up to kiss him passionately, "Of course."
I felt his warm hands spreading across my back and pulling me closer. Moving so my hips were straddling him, I kissed Jake again. It was slow and burning in my chest that I yearned to have more of all the time and as soon as Jake touches me the embers would erupt into an open flame. Of course, that scares the shit out of me. In past relationships, I was always the one in control at all times. I had the other person wrapped around my finger, I had them falling at my feet. Of course, the feelings were always mutual- I just didn't show it. But this? With Jake, it's almost comical out the roles are reversed and I have no control over the way he makes me feel. If he leaves me I know I'll be broken.
Jake pulled me closer and cupped my face is his larger hands, "You're so beautiful." He murmured, causing a blush to creep over my face. Jake flashed a crooked smile and pressed his lips to mine. I kissed back urgently, rolling my hips to get more comfortable which resulted in me grinding on him. Jake froze and I giggled against his lips.
"Demi." He warned, gripping my hips tightly.
I leaned my forehead against his, "What."
Jake sighed, "Don't play dumb."
I rolled my eyes playfully, "I don't know what you're talking about."
He shook his head and pressed his lips to mine, igniting the flame once more.
