Olivia:

I woke up this morning with a terrible headache as the sound of my alarm clock blared through the air.

Why would I get drunk on a Thursday night? What's wrong with me?

I groaned as I slammed my palm into the snooze button and winced when I heard the sound of it break on my wooden floor.

What a great start of the day.

I rolled out of my bed and threw on the same flowery dress I wore when we did the clothes swap video. That day I had swapped clothes with Shayne and ever since then, my dress had been permanently stretched out.

Shayne...

Suddenly memories of the previous night flooded my brain. I remember leaning on his shoulder and hugging him. Oh god, I have to see him again today.

I grabbed a granola bar for breakfast and headed out the door. Once I walked out the door I looked up and realized how beautiful the day was. I'm going to walk to work today, I decided.

Half an hour in I started to get dizzy because of my hangover. I should've eaten more breakfast. I also realized I was going to be late because I wasn't even halfway there yet. Shoot. As I considered calling an uber to pick me up, I heard two honks behind me. I whirled around, surprised, to find Shayne in his car waving at me. He rolled down his window -

"Hey, fancy seeing you here!"

"Hey, Shayne," I managed to croak because I suddenly felt extremely dizzy and nauseous. I started to sway and I was about to fall down when I heard him running up behind me and holding me steady by my arm.

"Looks like you need a ride," he mumbled, leading me by my arm to his car. I felt so embarrassed for him to see me like this again. It was enough he had to see me drunk last night too. He gently placed me in the front seat and I thanked him quietly.

"Sorry again. I guess I didn't eat enough breakfast," I shook my head. "I'm sorry I keep on bothering you."

"Bothering me? You're not bothering me. Making an interesting second impression? Maybe. But not bothering," He joked. I smiled a little. He studied my face as he started the car. "Here, I have some bars in the glove compartment. Take as many as you want."

I thanked him again and reached in for a bar. The rest of the ride was pretty much silent until I started to feel super nauseous again.

"Hey, Shayne? Do you mind pulling over really quickly?" I asked frantically. The last thing I wanted to do was throw up in his car.

"Why? Are you okay?" He looked at me, concerned.

"No, I think I'm going to throw up," Shayne's eyes widened and he quickly pulled over. I swung open the door and threw up on the grass on somebody's front lawn. A lady who was walking her dog glared at me a little as she walked by.

After I was done I just stood there for a while until I felt normal again. I heard footsteps behind me and felt Shayne's hand on my shoulder.

"Do you need some water?"

Oh my god this is so embarrassing. I felt my face burning up and I felt like I was about to cry. This whole situation was so wrong and embarrassing. When I looked at Shayne's face I wanted to cry even more because of all the concern on his face. But instead of crying, I surprised myself and just smiled a little. The look of surprise on his face was so funny that I started to smile more, and I even started to giggle. Then I thought of my situation and my crush on Shayne and how this was basically the worst thing that could've happened which made me full on laugh. Then Shayne started to smile and chuckle a little bit too, and pretty soon we were both laughing hysterically like crazy people. People walking on the sidewalk gave us weird glances like we were insane, which made us both laugh even more.

I tried to breathe but I couldn't, so I sat down on the sidewalk and tried to catch my breath. Shayne sat next to me and handed me a bottle of water. I gladly drank the whole thing in one shot.

"You are so strange, Olivia." he said, smiling, after we had been sitting for a while.

"We should probably get to work," I said, holding back a smile.

And with that we sat back in the car and drove the rest of the way to work.
