Natsu's equal and other half (Natsuxoc)

Part 2-Two Dragons, one Terrain

The next day, all was fine at Fairy Tail, Gray was stripping, Erza was eating Strawberry Cheesecake, Elfman was shouting stuff about 'real men', Mirajane was tending the bar and serving drinks, Cana was drinking most of the drinks being passed by Mirajane, Macao and Wakaba were talking about nowaday young girls and perverted things, and Makarov was seemingly napping on the counter. All looked normal, except one thing... Natsu was in the corner, being totally brain dead (even more than usual), with a massive blush on his face, a dreamy look in his eyes, you could even see hearts floating over his head. The strangest thing however... THERE WAS NO BRAWL!!!

"Natsu, are you okay?" Lucy asked with a tone of suspicion and concern. Natsu didn't respond and muttered 'wow' over and over.

"NATSU!!!" Lucy now shouted, which got Natsu out of his trance, he responded by saying "H-Huh, what?" In surprise.

"What's with you today, you've just been daydreaming all day long, and there hasn't been a single fight in the guild since you got here... which is THREE HOURS!!!" Lucy announced, with the last part being a shout so loud the entire guild heard.

Natsu responded by saying "W-Well, y-y-you see, I-it's just th-that I.. umm..." He said in a not-so-confident demeanour. After a few minutes of awkward silence, Happy suddenly exclaimed "IT'S BECAUSE YOU L-!", before finishing his sentence, a flaming fist was sent to the the talking blue cat, burying him in the wall.

Natsu, with a face worse than Erza and Mira's rage combined, then said "FINISH THAT SENTENCE, AND I'LL GRILL YOU ALONG WITH YOUR FISH!" In a greatly demonic tone that was worse than Mira's Satan Soul.

Happy's fur suddenly turned whiter than Carla's, and the life in his eyes was no more.

"What's going on here?" A new voice suddenly asked, everyone turned to the guild entrance to see that voice belonged to Joy, with Kai right next to her. The life in Happy suddenly came back and his eyes were replaced with giant hearts. Completely forgetting Natsu's threat he flew over to Joy with... well... a joyful expression.

"Hey Joy, do you want a fish?" Happy asked with a hopeful tone, revealing a whole salmon from his bag.

"Tomcat, don't be so rude as to-" Carla started, but was stopped when she noticed that Happy wasn't even listening, as he was dreamingly staring at Joy whilst she just drooled over the fish in front of her.

"HAPPY JUST IGNORED CARLA!!!" Max shouted from the back.

"HE'S NEVER DONE THAT BEFORE" Warren continued...

"EVER!!!" Most of the guild then shouted, whilst Carla was still in a state of shock.

"Yes I would love one!" Joy exclaimed joyfully (irony... ha😆) and took it faster than the blink of an eye. In response, Happy flew in circles around the guildhall faster than ever and kept repeating "SHE ACCEPTED!!!" With the happiest tone ever (even more irony).

Joy then had a nice idea and shouted "HEY HAPPY!", with Happy appearing in front of her faster than the blink of an eye "... Wanna share?" In a soft tone and multiple blinks directed at the blue feline. Before his heart jumped out of his chest he shouted "AYE!" And accepted her offer.

The pink Exceed then threw the fish in the air and whipped out a concealed sword (in her size), jumping and slicing the fish in half, one half landing in her paw, and the other on Happy's face, with Happy not caring as he stared with an expression of disbelief and admiration.

"Hey everyone!" Kai said towards Team Natsu and everyone else.

"Hey girl!" Lucy said enthusiastically.

"Hello." Wendy said politely.

"Greetings." Erza said in a strong tone.

"Sup..." Gray said leaning against a table, only to be met with an iron fist to the head.

"Be more formal to our new member!" Erza strictly ordered at Gray, to only get a whimpering 'Aye' from him.

Natsu was just behind the group, sitting at the same table and trying his best not to look at the groups direction, he was conflicted. He really wanted to over and greet her, yet at the same time his body made stay as far as possible. Kai noticed this and approached him directly.

"What's the matter Natsu, don't you want to greet me, don't you like me?" She asked in a fake hurt and sad tone, whilst wrapping arms around Natsu's neck, causing Natsu to panic and try to escape her grasp, but failed due to the combination of her superhuman strength and warm sensation that she was radiating.

"So warm..." they both thought about one another.

"I-It's no-not that, it's j-just t-t-that I, u-uh..." he tried to say, but came out as a stuttering mess, possible even worst than last time. Kai then turned Natsu's face to her own, and was staring at Natsu's face that housed an enormous blush, it was greater when she got too close for comfort as she leaned in more, causing Natsu to scrunch up his eyes.

The moment of awkwardness came to a halt as Kai leaned back with a tremendously large laugh, causing Natsu to shout in slight anger "What are you laughing about?!?".

"Hehehe... I'm sorry... Hahaha.. it's just.. hoo.. that you're really cute when you blush." She admitted in her outburst of laughing.

Normally when people like Lisanna said that, he would try to deny it, but this time, Natsu only responded by saying "T-T-Thanks..." which shocked the entire guild.

Kai then turned around and asked loudly "Okay, anyone got questions about me?" So everyone heard her. Everyone then came dashing at her with lightning speed and all shouted questions such as...

"How old are you?"

"What type of magic do you use?"

"What are your measurements?"

That last one came from Macao, which (surprisingly) got him a flaming fist to the face by Natsu.

"NO PERVERTED QUESTIONS!" He shouted, returning to his normal spot afterwards.

Everyone was shocked... again for like, the fifth time today. Normally the self-proclaimed discipline committee job was done by Erza, but Natsu, NATSU of all people beat her to the punch (literally 😆).

Kai giggles at his actions and broke the silence by saying "Well, I'm 17 years old, and I use fire magic... in fact I'm a Fire Dragon Slayer", from the last few words the guild was silent again (seriously, they could beat mice at the quiet game) until an uproar came the entire guild as they shouted "YEAH, ANOTHER DRAGON SLAYER IN OUR GUILD!!!".

Natsu of all people was the most enthusiastic, he even shouted "FINALLY, SOMEONE WHO GETS ME!!!" And came crashing down on her, delivering a large hug, picking her up and swinging her around.

Upon seconds of realising what he was doing, Natsu immediately dropped her safely, got on knees bowing and kept saying "S-Sorry!" over and over.

Kai only smiled lovingly at this. To make him stop she walked over, crouched down to his level and told him "Don't worry, I didn't mind."

She then leaned to his ear and said "In fact, it felt really nice..." In a soft tone, causing his face to be covered in a whole blush and almost fall on his back.

When he finally got back on his feet, Kai announced "By the way, I accept your challenge!" With a confident smirk and a fist in her palm similar to how Natsu did it. Natsu temporarily confused asked "What challenge?". Kai responded by saying "You know, the one from yesterday, you asked me to fight you, so I accept!"

Natsu's confusion was then replaced with a grin of enthusiasm and his classic catchphrase "I'M ALL FIRED UP NOW!!!"

Kai responded with a similar grin and with her own catchphrase "TIME TO TURN UP THE HEAT!!!"

They were about to trade fists as they charged at each other, but were stopped by a giant hand that acted as a wall between them.

"STOP, not in the guild, take it outside!" Makarov shouted, not wanting his guild hall to be up in flames from this match.

"Awww fine..." Both Fire Dragon Slayers said simultaneously, looking at other surprised that they said the same thing, and blushed out of what seemed like embarrassment.

"LET'S DO THIS!!!" They shouted at the same time, causing them to look at each other and blush again, only in darker shades.
