Natsu's equal and other half (Natsuxoc)

Part 8- Dragon Unity

Natsu was groaning in agony as he and Kai were travelling back to Magnolia in a train. Luckily for him however he was lying his head on Kai's lap, making the pain slightly more tolerable.

"Urgh... I'm gonna die..." He proclaimed.

"(Hehe) Not if I have anything to say about it." Kai cheerfully responded, stroking her now official lover's cheek, to which he blushed a few shades darker.

"Still, (bleurgh) to think, we've known each other for so many years, but never really remembered each other that well..." He managed to say weakly.

"Well, I remembered, but you forgot completely..." She responded, adding a bit of hurt in her tone and gaining a small frown.

"... I'm sorry, I truly am, is there anything I can do to make up for it?"

"... Well... there may be something..."

Kai leaned closer to Natsu, getting a few inches away from his ear and whispering something that couldn't be heard so easily. It lasted for a few seconds, but when it was done, Natsu was having a waterfall of blood leak out of his nose. Whatever it was she said, it's most likely he wouldn't be getting much sleep tonight...

(A FEW HOURS LATER)

The two finally arrived at Magnolia station, Natsu kissing the ground for dear life and Kai giggling at his antics.

"(Giggle) I think you've forgot one last kiss." Kai said playfully, leaning near Natsu as he was on his knees and puckering her lips. Natsu showed a grin of joy and interlocked his lips with hers, sharing a passionate kiss for a whole minute before separating.

"I was hoping to continue that..." Natsu admitted in disappointment. Kai then leaned near to his ear and whispered "We'll do so later..." With a great hint of seduction in her voice, making Natsu only melt in excitement... literally, he turned into a literal puddle.

Natsu eventually picked himself up and the two left, intertwining hands like a regular couple and walking away in sync.

(FAIRY TAIL GUILDHALL)

The two Fire Dragon Slayers were now outside of the guildhall, holding hands until separating as they were a foot away from the door. Kai has a look of disappointment and confusion as to why they stopped holding hands, which Natsu noticed.

"I don't want anyone knowing we're a couple just yet, y'know? I'm worried about them teasing or... or..."

With the last few words, they were being accompanied by some tears, as he was thinking of the worst to come. Kai was completely shocked about what her destined lover was thinking, yet also found it sweet at the same time, appreciating his caring nature which she fell in love with in the first place.

Instead of trying to make him feel better, Kai grabbed him by the face and kissed him softly, taking full control of the act as Natsu was shocked.

They soon broke the kiss, and Kai had a pure smile as she looked into Natsu's eyes, with Natsu recuperating the same look with a childish grin showing his pointy canines.

"Whatever happens, I'll be there for and with you..."

Natsu stared for a second, until finally reacting with a light chuckle.

"What's funny?" Kai asked.

"(Giggling) Nothing, I'm just wondering how I've managed to get the most perfect girl to fall for me..."

Kai smiled sincerely at his words, staring deep into his black onyx eyes with great compassion and giving a quick peck on the lips, making Natsu blush lightly with an embarrassed look.
