Natsu's equal and other half (Natsuxoc)

Part 1-Beginnings and Blushes

It was a normal day in the guild, a midday guild brawl (courtesy of a certain pink haired Fire Dragon Slayer), Gray walking around almost completely naked, Elfman shouting 'MAN' over and over, with Evergreen whacking him on the head, Erza attempting to break it up and those too cowardly (cough.. Lucy.. cough) hiding behind anything there was to hide behind.

All seemed right with the world, but little did they know that a presence was about to enter their lives, both shocking and exciting simultaneously. Just at the front of the guildhall, a lone figure stand, standing at five foot five, and concealing its appearance with a large black cloak (same as Natsu in x792). To any sane man, the person was radiating pure amounts of joy and excitement.

Suddenly, the doors were open and everyone stopped their activities, as the figure has now made an official appearance and was walking towards the counter that contained a beautiful platinum haired young barmaid and a short almost completely bald man. She walked at a slow pace until finally reaching her desired location.

"Is this the Fairy Tail guild hall?" She asked, finally speaking.

What was really surprising was the figures voice, it was soft and silky, like a sound crafted by the gods themselves. But for Natsu, just the first letter when heard made him blush a fair shade dark, but not enough for anyone to notice, he also felt his heart rate increase by twice as much.

The silence was eventual broken when the short man from earlier said "Why yes it is, would you like to join child?" With an expression of pure kindness.

She nodded fairly quickly, and the old man
Said "Welcome to Fairy Tail, I'm the guild master Makarov, what's your name?" With enthusiasm.

She answered by saying "Kai Emberly." With joy in her voice. Mirajane then pulled out a stamp and asked "Where and what colour?".

Kai responded by saying "Red on my right should please.", and lifted her cloak, pointing at the exact spot.

In one quick press, the Fairy Tail emblem was visible on her body, and therefore she was a member. Suddenly Kai then says "And one for my friend to please." In a sweet voice.

"Friend?" Mirajane asked in a confused and curious tone. Only to be answered when the cloaked girl says "Joy, you can come out now!"

Suddenly, a light pink Exceed with emerald eyes appeared from the cloak. It had pointy ears, long whiskers, wings similar to that of a typical exceed and a bag on the back similar to Happy.

"Hello everyone, my name is Joy and I'm Kai's partner!" She stated with happiness, and if anyone could notice, Happy's eyes were replaced with hearts while he mumbled "I think I found something greater than fish!", whilst Carla shook her head disapprovingly and Lily nodded with a smirk.

The newly appeared exceed then said "On my back and green please."

Mirajane then pressed the stamp on her back, revealing a green Fairy Tail mark identical to Happy's, which caused the scene of Happy's heart nearly jumping out of his chest and fainting on the table he was standing on.

With the emblem on the two newest members, Makarov shouted "ALRIGHT BRATS LISTEN UP, THESE TWO ARE. A PART OF FAIRY TAIL NOW, SO LET'S SHOW THEM HOW WE PARTY!!!" With pure joy and enthusiasm.

As everybody shouted with just as much enthusiasm, Natsu started things off by running towards the new member and shouted "Hey, FIGHT M-".

Before he could finish his sentence, the person took off the hood of the cloak, revealing a girl with long, crimson red hair that put Erza to shame, pure, smooth and pale skin that put Juvia to shame, and hypnotic clear brown eyes that put Lucy to-(okay you get the point).  She then took off the entire cloak revealing everything.

In terms of clothing, she wore a black tank top with red gym shorts, black leather combat gloves, hiking boots and had a small knife on her left side that was maroon. Her choice of clothing complimented her perfect hourglass figure that rivalled Lucy, Erza, and even Mira together, causing nosebleeds for some of the males who observed her taking off the cloak.

Just by looking at her face, Natsu instantly changed from a fighting enthusiast to a sentient stuttering mess. What made it worse was when she said "Oh, hello there" in a soft and welcoming voice, just from those three words, Natsu was having a mental screaming war with himself.

"She's speaking to me, she's actually speaking to me, why can't I talk? Why is my body not responding? SHE JUST SAID SOMETHING NON-OFFENSIVE SO RESPOND DAMNIT!!!"

It came out as "H-Hi... (gulp) I-I-I'm N-n-nat-ts-u..." In a voice second only to a jibbering mess. The whole of Team Natsu was in complete shock, including Gray and especially Lucy and Happy.

"(What was that?! Natsu has never stuttered before!)" Lucy screamed mentally.

"(Wow, Flame-brain's actually brain has finally been fried, hehehe...)" Gray thought with a smirk.

"(This is most peculiar, there's never a moment Natsu's not confident in challenges or battles...)" Erza pondered.

"(WOW, he doesn't just liiiiiiiiiike her..... HE LOOOOoooOOOOoooOOOOooooOOOVES HER!!!)" Happy shouted in his head, giving the best reaction, because he didn't want to be burned to a crisp by his partner just yet.

Everyone's thoughts were interrupted when a light giggle was heard from Kai looking at the radioactive tomato Natsu had as a face. As she then said "... You're really cute." With a playful smirk and partially sultry tone, finished with a clearly visible wink.

What they were shocked of before only increased tenfold by that sudden statement, and a loud 'THUMP' was heard as Natsu was on the floor, legs dangling in the air and being as unconscious as Happy just a few minutes ago.

"(She thinks I'm cute!)" Was all Natsu could think in his knocked out state, while still blushing up a storm and possessing a smile that was twice as large as anything he ever produced before.

"What was that about, oh well. Anyway thanks everyone for welcoming me, but now I have to find a house..." Kai said out of the blue, walking towards the doors. But before she left, she quickly kneeled down towards Natsu and planted a kiss on his cheek, whilst whispering "You really are cute, you might be the cutest boy I've ever met..." With a slightly noticeable blush.

Whilst you might think the pinked haired boy was still unconscious, in truth he was acting. When Kai finally left he got on his feet and shouted at the top of his lungs  "I'M REALLY FIRED UP NOW!!!" As he started spewing out fire in all directions and in just s few seconds was overpowering everyone in the brawl, even giving Erza a run for her money.

As this was happening , outside Kai and her exceed partner Joy were just walking casual across all the available housing estates, neither uttering a single word until Joy said "Why did you kiss that guy Kai?" In a tone of curiosity.

"I just think he's interesting... and cute." She said with the last part being a whisper and with a slight blush. Unfortunately Joy heard the last part and teased her by saying "You liiiiiiiike him!" In the classic Happy style, with even her paws on her cheeks.

Kai was just blushing up a storm just like Natsu earlier, but confidentially retaliated by saying "And what if I do? He's cute, strong, caring, and his clothes leave little to the imagination." As she suddenly had a dreamy look on her face whilst thinking about Natsu's open vest which revealed his well-sculpted figure and most importantly... ABS!!!

Joy just mockingly laughed at her friends facial expression whilst Kai told her to stop it. But mentally she was saying "It's great to have finally met you, Natsu Dragneel, Son of Igneel." With a big, toothy grin similar to said Dragon Slayer.
