Natsu's equal and other half (Natsuxoc)

Part 7- Two Dragons, a Single Spark

The pair simply stood in silence, neither saying a single word, Natsu had a look of disbelief and shock, whilst he stared at Kai, who herself had an expression of concern and fear, as she wondered how he would react to this.

"... Eternal mate?" Natsu asked, not fully sure how to react.

"Yes, you see all dragons and Dragon Slayers eventually would seek out their mate in the world, not matter who they may be, and it turns out that we are destined by fate already."

"W-Why?"

"(Giggle) You really don't remember, do you?"

Kai then hand a handful of her long hair in her hand, and held it behind her head, making it look like that she had a different hairstyle. At this, Natsu suddenly went wide eyed and instantly remembered where he's seen her before.

FLASHBACK- 8 YEARS AGO

Natsu was walking alongside Igneel through a large forest, with Igneel being cautious about crashing into the trees and Natsu just looking around.

"Hey dad, where are we going?" the pinkette suddenly asked, curious about the Fire Dragon King's intentions.

"Today we will be seeing my dear friend Pheolona, I haven't seen her for a long time and recently discovered that she's somewhere in these woods." Igneel explained, receiving a nod of understanding from his 'son'.

"Okay, so why am I coming?"

"Because I've told her so much about you, and she had been hoping to meet you in person!"

"Fine." Natsu finished with a tone of defeat.

About half an hour later, they finally stopped at a large and long cave entrance which the Fire Dragon King could just fit in, where they stopped and waited. A moment later rumbling was heard from the entrance, and walking out slowly came a dragon a bit smaller than Igneel, with a bird beak that resembled a phoenix, wings that had orange, yellow and red feathers, feet that looked like chicken legs, and an entire torso with red and golden feathers reaching as far as the tail (just imagine Sunburn from Skylanders).

"Pheolona, it has been FAR too long..." Igneel opened with, adding a friendly chuckle, whilst the officially identified Pheolona responded with her own chuckle.

"Indeed my king, and I see that this is the runt you were talking so much about, If he wasn't human, I could definitely believe him as your son, he shares your looks..."

Her voice was similar to Igneel in terms of great volume, but sounded more feminine and nice.

"Hi I'm Natsu, now let's fight!"

Before he could even touch the female dragon, his father slapped him into the ground with his tail, creating a small crater.

"Manners son, remember manners!"

"(Ow)... Sorry... (ow)." was all the pinkette said as he got back up.

"Anyway Pheolona, you had something to tell me?" The Fire Dragon King asked, wondering what it might be.

"Yes, you see, I now have my own child, adopted of course, but one I truly care for..." She explained, turning around before shouting into the cave.

"Kai, you can come out now!"

After a few seconds, small footsteps were heard from further in the cavern, until finally came out a girl who seemed the same size and age of Natsu with crimson red hair, a greatly pale complexion, chocolate brown eyes, and short hair that ends above her neck, she was also wearing slightly torn looking grey shorts and a black shirt. When looking at her, Natsu actually blushed, thinking about how cute she was.
