PERCY'S POV

"Sorry," I sat up noticing that Grover was looking terribly concerned for my well being. "You can sleep now, I'll just --" I cut myself off, sighing. I looked around for literally anything else to do. I couldn't take the feeling of Grover's eyes staring into my soul any longer. Frustrated, I threw myself down on the ground. Grover probably thought I acted like a two-year-old.

He wouldn't want to protect a child -- he'd want to go back to his perfect life at camp. To his friends and probably his girlfriend. Did Grover HAVE a girlfriend? He must.

I must have looked like one overly emotionally damaged teenager. Instead of ignoring me and going to sleep, Grover sat down next to me and patted my shoulder.

"You wanna talk about it?" at first I thought he could hear my thoughts... or some creepy thing like that. Fortunately, he was just talking about the nightmare I just had. I shook my head, no.

Sure he was here to listen, I just didn't want to talk.

...

GROVER'S POV

Percy wouldn't look me in the eye. He wouldn't even talk to me. I didn't know why, from what I could tell I did nothing to hurt him. Unless I did? Was I too forward with how I felt? Was Percy not that kind of guy? I was getting more frustrated by the second. Percy mumbled something about me going back to bed, I ignored him and tried to pry more on his dream.

I sighed, eventually giving up and going to bed. Alas, maybe I could try to ask him tomorrow.
