TOBY'S P.O.V

Man, my life has never been like this before. I felt like I was all useless. No, I was already useless. I hate Ally. If only I could say it out loud. She has always wanted me to stay around. Even if I did, soon she would ask for more. I felt terribly sorry for Austin too. He has no life. He spent the entire holiday to look after Ally, when Ally didn't even put any attention to him. And I miss Loaine. Really.

"Tobs, Ri, where are you guys?" Connor shouted from downstairs. He went for Starbucks this morning.

"Dressing up!" I heard Riley.

"You dress up?" Connor noted the tease.

"Absolutely. I need your eyeliner please!" Riley answered again. Yeah that's how we start our morning. We opened the room door and it's always remain opened everyday because we've always talked like this.

"Tobs?"

"Yep."

"Oh, I thought you're dead." Connor laughed, followed by Riley.

"Practically yeah." I mumbled.

They stopped laughing and the next second, I had my two brothers hanging in front of me.

"What?" I rolled my eyes.

"Dude, get a life. This is already complicated. But you need to see the good in everything. Like always." Riley started the speech.

"Like what." I remained sarcastic because that's how I felt and it's more likely a statement rather than question.

"Like maybe you and Loaine really need this."

"Oh yeah? Mind to elaborate it, Con?"

"You think you're good with her until Ally came and ruined everything right?"

Connor spoke the right thing and I just nodded, frozen.

"That's because you see it in a single perspective. Bro, we love to see you with Loaine. After all, she's really a good girl. But we should step aback, and see, how did you start it with her. The relationship, after all, is not the best. I personally can't do that. Let's be real. How can you stick around in a relationship when you can only meet your girlfriend once a year?"

"Like we will always come back every year." Riley added. "Connor said that you need to see the realistic too. And it doesn't mean like we don't support you on this. We do."

"I know." I breathed out the sigh.

"We know you got it. Ally is one of the things that maybe can give you space to think about this. If you and Loaine are really meant to be together, why not." Connor hugged me.

"I'm just confused. I miss her, but she barely talked to me."

"She needs space. It's only months left. We will come to Manila. But before it all, you have to figure out your feelings too."

"Uh...okay..."

"Good. Now let's go. We're running late."

We drove ourselves as fast as we can to the venue. There'll be interview for today. You see, that's how I live my life lately. Plain. Did I say that I miss Loaine?

"Hey bro?" I received a call from Austin.

"Oh hey. You busy?"

I looked at Connor and Riley. They knew that this was Austin. And they wondered if there's something happen.

"Not really. We just did interview. What is it?"

"Can you come over, fast as possible?"

My heart just stopped breathing and I signed Connor to drive faster.

"Oh sure sure. Can you please tell me what is happening? Is it Ally?"

"I...yeah. Gosh I'm sorry I'll catch up with you later. See ya."

And he hung up the phone. He sounded really confuse and busy like he's been having marathon all over the house. I can't stop thinking about the worst possibility.

"Is she okay?" Riley asked from the back seat.

"I don't know, he didn't tell."

"Oh God."

"I know."

We drove to Ally's house in silence. Connor did his best so we spent only 10 minutes to get here. I sprinted inside and met Austin right away. Him and his red eyes.

"Come."

He brought us upstairs where Mrs. Henderson was. I looked at Ally. She's peacefully sleeping. Was she?

"Hey Ally it's me..." I swept away my tears.

She opened her eyes slowly. "Hey..."

"You'll get through this."

"No..."

"Yes you can."

"No..."

"You'll be fine, I promise."

"Tell...Loaine...I'm...s...sorry..."

I glanced over everybody. I saw Connor hugged Mrs. Henderson because she's crying so hard right now. And there was Riley tried to support Austin's weak body by wrapping his shoulders.

"Ssh...that's okay."

"I...love you..."

"I know..." I stuttered, not knowing what to say. "Me too..."

"No you don't...liar..." She chuckled and shut her eyes.

"Ally stay with me. Focus on your energy. Stay awake!" I shook her body. She opened her eyes again.

"I'm...tired...I want...to go..."

"You're not allowed." I held my breath.

"Baby I'm...done..."

"No."

"Mom..." She asked her Mom to come and Mrs. Henderson kneeled beside me.

"Yes honey...?"

"I...quit..."
