Chapter 1

Hiro's POV

I yawned as I'm on the way to my school. Nothing particular happen today, everything just fine until a convoy zoomed passed me and went towards my school.

Soon I reached the front gate of my school and soon being greeted by one of my loud classmate.

"Good Morning! Hiro."

"Morning, Zorome.", I replied.

"Hey, did you see that convoy drive into the campus?", he asked.

"Yeah, wonder what's that for? Some celebrity come?", I mumbled.

"Yeah probably....But I have a bigger problem right now...", I asked while trying to not make eye contact with me.

"What...? Can I say no?", I sensed something bad is going to happen.

"Can I borrow your homework...I forgot to do mine.", he totally ignored my words and embarrassingly said.

"NO, you still got time before class, go do it yourself.", I said before I ran away.

"HEY HIRO!!!!!", I heard he yelled at the distance.

After I got away from him, I walked passed the principal's office and noticed quite amount of people gathered at there. I tried to have a peek inside but failed because of the peoples.

"Hey isn't she beautiful..."

"And have a nice body too..."

"Wait....is that horns on her head..."

"Yeah..."

"Why she's here in the first place...."

"Wait...that school uniform...isn't she from APE Academy..."

"You mean the most prestige high school in our country..."

"I heard that only orphan are allowed to study...."

"And they used code instead of names..."

"What a weird system....."

After a while stood behind the crowds, I pretty much know something about this mysterious transfer student. I walked away and soon arrived at my class.

"Good morning, Goro, Ichigo.", I greeted as I put down my bag and sit down. I soon realized the class is more energetic than usual.

"By the way, did anything happen before I come?", I asked.

"You didn't get the news, I heard that our class has a new transfer student.", Goro explained.

"Oh....transfer student huh.....", I mumbled as I looked outside the window and saw the convoy leaving.

"I wonder is her or not...", I thought as our teacher entered the classroom.

"Good morning everyone, I'm sure you already know that we have a transfer student today, so I'm not going to waste any time. Let's introduce her. Come in.", Miss Nana said as the girl entered the classroom.

At first glance, she's a really gorgeous looking girl, the long pink silky hair, cyan-colored eyes, the things that set her apart from others are the two red horns with a white hair band on her head. As I looked at her, I heard some whisper throughout the class.

"Please introduce yourself.", Miss Nana said.

"My name is Code 002, you guys can call me Zero Two. Nice to meet you all.", she said in a emotionless and lazy tone. After that, there's an awkward silence until someone started to clap.

"You can sit at the empty place right there.", Miss Nana said as she pointed at the empty place beside me because Naomi already transferred away.

As she walked towards the empty seat, most of the student just avoid eye contact with her. She sat down and just laid on the table and sleep. I looked at her and sighed as I continued to revise my study.

*Recess time*

"Hiro, you go without us, got work at the student council.", Goro said as Ichigo followed him to the student council room.

"Zoro---"

"NO! Don't you see I'm busy right now!", Zorome said as he still copying homework with Miku beside him. While the rest of my friend is nowhere to be found, I decided to get my bento and went to the rooftop, that's my little utopia.

"Itadakimasu...", I mumbled as I started eating. A satisfying smile slowly appeared on my face as I looked at the sun, suddenly something from above doing a backflip, blocking the sunlight.

The figure landed before me, as the person lifted her head, our eyes met.

It's Zero Two.

She stood up, tidied up her uniform and walked towards the door like nothing happens. As she opened the doorknob, I heard a growling voice came out from her stomach. I looked at her as she's looked kinda embarrassed. I grabbed a sandwich I brought along and handed it to her.

"You didn't bring your lunch, right?", she remained silence.

"Then you should eat something.", I said as she slowly took it away. She immediately teared the packing apart and started eating it. Both of us stayed silence while enjoying our food.

"Aren't you afraid of me?", she asked.

"Why? Because of those horns?", I replied.

"Yeah. Just part of my genetic problems."

"Why should I be afraid of you? You're just a teenager, like all of us. Don't be ashamed by your own appearance.", I said.

"Thanks. Oh yeah, since we sit beside each other. What's your name?", she asked as she almost finished eating the sandwich.

"My name? Hiro.", I replied.

"Hiro huh?", she stood up and walked to the edge and turned towards me.

"Thanks for the meal, Hiro.", she replied as she bend down and gave me a smile. As she smile, a sudden gust of wind blew and her hair waved under the wind. The scene in front of me struck me as profoundly beautiful, suddenly I saw a memories that I've never seen before.

A little girl running right in front of me. She turned back and gave me a lollipop.

"This is for you, Darling....."

As I tried to figure out what happen but a sudden headache snapped me back to reality.

"Ahh!", I grabbed the side of my head as I groaned in pain. I laid down, slowly losing my consciousness, as my vision slowly faded, I saw her ran towards me and....my vision went dark.

"Hiro...!"

"Hiro...!"

"HIRO!"

Haven't written any fanfic for a new ship in a very long time.
