Chapter 7.1 (OVA 1)

Goro X Ichigo - Side story

Third person POV

After all of them decided their room, they carried their bags and luggage to their respective rooms. As the boys walked down the stairs and have some fun in the living room, Goro saw Ichigo struggled to carry her bags upstairs.

"Hey, you guys go first, I'll catch up later.", he said as they looked at him and Ichigo who's behind him and all of them have a synchronized smug smile on their face.

"Don't worry, we won't get In your way.", Hiro said he quickly lead the boys away, leaving us alone.

"Sorry for causing you trouble, Ichigo...", he awkwardly said while adjusting his glasses.

"No I'm the one who should apologize.", she quickly said as she looked at him and their eyes make contact. They quickly turned away as they started to blush.

"Let...me help y-you take your bags.", he embarrassingly said.

"T-thanks....", she said as he quickly took her bags upstairs to the girls room.

"Oh god, I almost have a heart attack. Should I start a conversation?", he said in his mind as he walked upstairs

"Ahhh!!! I don't know what to do. I better said something to him.", she said in her mind as she looked as his back.

"Goro?"

"Yeah?"

"How's Zorome?"

"Still unconscious, looks like Miku karate chop him a bit too strong.", he said as he laughed a bit.

"Are you sure he's fine?", she asked with concerned.

"Nah he'll be fine, he's tougher than he looks.", he confidently said as he tried to assure that Zorome is fine.

As they reached the upper floor, Ichigo noticed Miku exited the room Zorome's in which is occupied by the boys.

"Hmm....Miku, what you're doing...?", she walked closer to her and whispered at her ear.

"AH! You scare the shit out of me, Ichigo!", she jolted and said loudly. "It's none of your business, hymph!"

She let out a little laugh as the red-haired twin tail walked away. As Goro pulled down her bags, she noticed Zero Two stood at the open air balcony, staring at the ocean.

"Zero Two? Why you're kinda moody today?"

"Oh Ichigo, can I just have a dip in the ocean?", she pleaded in a way that no one can refuse.

"NO means no, Zero Two. You can have fun tomorrow, that's we agreed on, right?", Ichigo said.

"Okay...but why those two people are down there?", Zero Two said as she pointed at the two figure at the beach.

"Oh, Mitsuru and Kokoro. Forget about them, just being lovey dovey all day long.", both of them noticed Zero Two and others at the balcony and waved at them.

"Lovey dovey huh...? How about you?", she asked as she waved back.

"Huh?", the blue-haired said in confusion.

"You and Goro.", she whispered at her ear with a smug smile.

"Zero Two!", she started to whine and punched her lightly.

"*laugh* I'm going to find the guys, both of you have fun!", she said as she jumped over the balcony wall and landed at the first floor, leaving both of them stunned and shocked for what happen earlier.

"Did she just....jumped down?", Ichigo said, still stunned.

"Yeah...", he replied. After that, they looked at each other and started to laugh uncontrollably. As she still laughing, he took a deep breath and asked her something.

"Ichigo...?"

"Yeah...?"

"I have something to tell you..."

"What is it..?", she said as she tried to wipe away the tears and tried to catch a breath after laughing excessively.

"Actually...I've been li--", he nervously said as he tried to cover his madly blushing face.

"GUYS TIME TO PREPARE DINNER!!!", Ikuno opened the door downstairs and started to yell while hitting the frying pan with a ladle.

"Well, time to go downstairs.", she said as she gave him a smile. "What you're tried to say earlier?"

"Oh, just forget about that."

As the group started to prepare dinner, for some obvious reason, Goro and Ichigo are paired to prepare the cooking material.

As they are chopping the vegetables, Goro noticed somethings not right about her.

"Ichigo, if you're not feeling well I can take over this."

"I-I'm okay, just have some thought in my mind. AH!", she said as she accidentally cut her finger.

"Oh shit, we have to disinfect the wound.", he said in concerned.

"It's okay, just put a band-aid and it'll be fine."

"No means no. Ikuno, where is the first aid kit?", he asked.

"Just nearby the toilet.", she replied and he just grabbed her hand and headed towards the toilet.

"It's not a big deal, Goro."

"You know that an infection and kill a person, right?", he said as she remained silence.

He started to gently wash her wound, grabbed the kit and applied the antibiotic cream to the wound and a band-aid on it.

"This should be it.", he said in relief.

"Thank you, Goro."

"You're welcome.", he replied with a smile. "By the way, about the question I ask earlier, it's--"

"It's I've been liking for you for a long time, right?", she said as his eyes widened, looked at her. "For the reply, this should be it."

She moved closer to him, covered his eyes, gently pressed her lips against his. She removed her hand and looked at him in the eyes, while blushing madly.

"So you know it all along huh?", he said.

"Who knows...?", she replied in a mysterious smile. "Well at least good for you....vice president."

"Same as you, student council president.", he replied.

-Extra-

"Guys? I don't know if it just me or something happen.", Zorome, who just woke up, said as he noticed something fishy in the atmosphere.

"No nothing happen.", Goro said.

"Yeah, nothing happen.", Ichigo said.

"Are you hallucinating?", Hiro said.

"Probably, but it just weird.", Zorome said as he continued to eat his dinner. Both Goro and Ichigo took a glimpse at each other, smiling.

And there's Miku, quietly sat beside them, as her face have a slight pink blush.....
